Մի քանի իրանցի դիվանագետներ վերսկսում են իրենց աշխատանքն Իսլամական համագործակցության կազմակերպությունում (ԻՀԿ), որը գտնվում է Սաուդյան Արաբիայի Ջիդդա քաղաքում, տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը:

Գործակալության տեղեկատվությամբ՝ «երեք իրանցի դիվանագետներ Սաուդյան Արաբիա մուտքի այցագիր են ստացել»: Դիվանագետներն «արդեն մեկնել են Ջիդդա և վեցամյա ընդմիջումից հետո պետք է վերսկսեն իենց գործունեությունը ԻՀԿ-ում»:

Նշվում է, որ Իրանից Սաուդյան Արաբիա դիվանագետների մուտքի մասին համաձայնությունը ձեռք է բերվել սաուդացի և իրանցի ներկայացուցիչների միջև բանակցությունների հերթական փուլի ընթացքում, որոնք տեղի են ունեցել Իրաքի մայրաքաղաք Բաղդադում: Մինչ այս պահը Բաղդադում կայացել է Թեհրանի և Էր Ռիադի միջև բանակցությունների չորս փուլ: Բացի դրանից, կողմերը շփումներ են ունեցել Նյու Յորքում՝ ՄԱԿ Գլխավոր վեհաժողովի նիստի հարթակներում:

Երկխոսությունը կենտրոնացած է երկկողմ և տարածաշրջանային հարցերի վրա, ներառյալ իրադրությունը Պարսից ծոցում և Եմենում: 2021 թվականի հունիսի 21-ին Իրանի նախագահ Էբրահիմ Ռայիսին հայտարարել է, որ Թեհրանի և Էր Ռադի միջեւ երկխոսության և դեսպանությունների աշխատանքի վերսկսման համար ոչ մի կարգի արգելքներ չկան:

Երկու երկրների միջև հարաբերությունները լրջորեն սրվել են 2015 թվականի մարտին Եմենի տարածքում «Անսար Ալլահ» շարժման (հութիներ) դեմ Սաուդյան Արաբիայի գլխավորած կոալիցիայի կողմից ռազմական գործողություն սկսվելուց հետո, որը շարունակվում է մինչ օրս: Իրանը թագավորության այդ գործողություննեը գնահատում է որպես տարածաշրջանի իրադրության ապակայունացում: Էր Ռիադը Թեհրանին մեղադրում է հուսիների աջակցության համար, որոնք իրենց զենքն, այդ թվում անօդաչուներն, ուղղում են Սաուդյան Արաբիայի դեմ:
