Հայաստանի էներգետիկայի և բնական պաշարների փոխնախարար Արեգ Գալստյանը կարևոր և իրագործելի է համարում Հյուսիս-հարավ էներգետիկ միջանցքի ստեղծումը՝ Հայաստանի, Իրանի, Վրաստանի և Ռուսաստանի համար:
Կառավարության նիստից հետո լրագրողների հետ զրույցում Գալստյանն, անդրադառնալով Երևանում անցկացված Հայաստանի, Վրաստանի, Իրանի և Ռուսաստանի էներգետիկայի նախարարությունների համատեղ նիստին, նշեց, որ այդ հանդիպման ժամանակ առաջին հերթին ամրագրվել է խոշոր ծրագիր, որն իրագործելի է չորս երկրների համար էլ:
«Որոշվեց մեկ օր շուտ ստեղծել համապատասխան աշխատանքային խումբ: Պայմանավորվել ենք հաջորդ հանդիպումն անցկացնել ապրիլի կեսին, մինչ այդ կոորդինացիոն խումբը կփորձի իրականացնել գույքագրում՝ էներգետիկ ծրագրի կյանքի կոչման համար»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ ասաց փոխնախարարը:
Պատասխանելով հարցին՝ հնարավո՞ր է Հայաստանն առաջիկայում անմիջապես գազ գնի Իրանից և հրաժարվի ռուսական գազից, Միրզոյանն ասաց. «Ես ոչ մի մեկնաբանություն չեմ կարող տալ, որովհետև նման բան ես ինքս չեմ լսել, նման բանակցային գործընթացի տեղյակ չեմ: Միանշանակ, խոսքը գնում է էլեկտրաէներգիայի միջանցքի մասին»:
Նա նշեց, որ նախատեսվում է Իրանի հետ «գազ էլեկտրաէներգիայի դիմաց» պայմանագիրն ամբողջովին իրագործել: «Իրանի հետ կառուցվող 400 կՎտ լարման էլեկտրահաղորդման 3-րդ գիծը հնարավորություն է տալու մինչև 1200 մեգավատտ հզորության տարանցում ապահովել երկու ուղղությամբ: Միայն այդ դեպքում կարող ենք լիարժեք իրականացնել «գազ էլեկտրաէներգիայի դիմաց» պայմանագիրը»,- ասաց Գալստյանը՝ հավելելով, որ ըստ պայմանագրի նախատեսվում է էլեկտրաէներգիայի մատակարարման ծավալները հասցնել 6.9 մլրդ կՎտ/ժամի՝ ներկայիս 1 մլրդ-ի դիմաց:
