Փարաջանովի «Հակոբ Հովնաթանյանը» Նյու Յորքի ժամանակակից արվեստի թանգարանի հայկական առաջին ֆիլմն է

Նյու Յորքի Ժամանակակից արվեստի թանգարանին (MoMA) մշտական պահպանության են հանձնվել Սերգեյ Փարաջանովի վերականգնված երեք կարճամետրաժ ֆիլմերի («Հակոբ Հովնաթանյան» (Հայաստան, 1967), «Կիևյան որմնանկարներ» (Ուկրաինա, 1966) և «Արաբանախշեր Փիրոսմանիի թեմաներով» (Վրաստան, 1986)) ժապավենային օրինակները՝ ապահովելով հավաքածուում փարաջանովյան արվեստի անփոխարինելի ներկայությունը։ 

Հայաստանի ազգային կինոկենտրոնից հայտնում են, որ այս առիթով թանգարանը 2022 թվականի հունվարի 19-ին և 20-ին՝ The MoMA International Festival of Film Preservation «To Save and Project» ծրագրի շրջանակում, արվեստասեր հանրությանը ներկայացրել է Սերգեյ Փարաջանովի պոետիկ վավերագրության յուրօրինակ ամբողջությունը՝ տրիպտիխը: 

Հայաստանի ազգային կինոկենտրոնի և «Համո Բեկնազարով նախագիծ» ընկերության համագործակցության շնորհիվ իրականացվել են Սերգեյ Փարաջանովի երեք կարճամետրաժների վերականգնման և ժապավենային տպագրության աշխատանքները։ Ֆիլմերի վերականգնումը իրականացվել է Լոնդոնյան CPC ընկերության ֆինանսավորմամբ, իսկ ՀԲԸՄ Նյու Յորքի կենտրոնի կողմից ֆինանսավորվել է վերականգնված օրինակների ժապավենային (35 մմ) տպագրությունը՝ 5 օրինակով։ Օրինակներից մեկը պահպանվում է Հայաստանի ազգային կինոկենտրոնում, 1-ական օրինակներ տրվել են Վրաստանին և Ուկրաինային։ Եվ 1-ական օրինակներ էլ մշտական պահպանության են հանձնվել Նյու Յորքի Ժամանակակից արվեստի թանգարանին և Փարիզի Պոմպիդու արվեստի կենտրոնին։ 

Փարաջանովի կարճամետրաժների վերականգնված ժապավենային տրիպտիխը ուղիղ մեկ ամիս առաջ (դեկտեմբերի 15, 2021թ.) հանդիսավոր պայմաններում մշտական պահպանության է հանձնվել Փարիզի Պոմպիդու արվեստի կենտրոնին։ Փարաջանովի «Հակոբ Հովնաթանյանը» հայկական առաջին ֆիլմն է, որն իր կարևոր տեղն է զբաղեցրել համաշխարհային նշանակության երկու խոշոր արվեստի կենտրոններում՝ MoMA-ում և Պոմպիդուում։

Հայաստանի ազգային կինոկենտրոնը վերականգնված երեք կարճամետրաժների ծրագիրն իրականացնելու նպատակով համագործակցել է Ուկրաինայի (Դովժենկոյի կենտրոն), Վրաստանի (Վրացական ֆիլմ), Ռուսաստանի (Gosfilmofond) գործընկերների հետ, ինչպես նաև Լեհաստանի (Fixafilm), Ֆրանսիայի (Համո Բեկ-Նազարով նախագիծ), Լոնդոնի (Kino Klassika), ՀԲԸՄ-ի նյույորքյան կենտրոնի հետ։
