Հունվարի 1-ից առևտրի օբյեկտներում մինչև 50 միկրոն հաստությամբ պոլիէթիլենային պարկերի և տոպրակների օգտագործումն արգելված է՝ բացառությամբ կշռափաթեթավորման համար նախատեսված և երկրորդային հումքից պատրաստված տոպրակների: Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի և վարչական շրջանների աշխատակիցները հունվարի 20-ից ստուգայցեր են իրականացնում, օրինազանցներին՝ տուգանում: Հսկողությունը լինելու է ամենօրյա:
«Միկրոմետրով կատարվում են չափումներ: Եթե տոպրակի հաստությունը 50 միկրոնից ցածր է, ապա տնտեսվարողները Վարչական իրավախախտումների վերաբերյալ օրենսգրքով ենթարկվում են պատասխանատվության: Տուգանքի չափը 20.000-30.000 դրամ է»,- ընդգծում է Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի աշխատակազմի առևտրի և ծառայությունների վարչության պետ Հովիկ Սաֆարյանը:
Քաղաքացիները, սակայն, դժգոհում են՝ նշելով, որ արգելել են, սակայն այլընտրանք չկա, կտորից տոպրակների գները թանկ են:

Անդրադառնալով քաղաքացիների դժգոհությանը բնապահպանն ասաց, որ խոշոր սուպերմարկետները լուծել են խնդիրը և կտորից տոպրակներն արդեն վաճառվում են․ «Այո, սկզբում այլընտրանք չկար, որի մասին բազմաթիվ ելույթներ ենք ունեցել, իսկ հիմա խոշոր սուպերմարկետներում կարող եք տեսնել, թե ինչպես 240 դրամով վաճառվում են էկո տոպրակներ, որոնք տանում են մոտավորապես 10 կգ քաշ: Ականատես եմ եղել, որ մարդիկ նախընտրում են այս տոպրակները, որոնք կարող են մի քանի անգամ օգտագործել, և ոչ թե, ասենք, անգամ 50 միկրոնանոցները: Այսինքն, մեր սպառողը պատրաստ չէ 45 դրամ տալ և պոլիէթիլենային այդ տոպրակներից ամեն անգամ վերցնել: Արդեն թանկ են: Ինչ վերաբերում է կրպակներին և մանր առևտրի կենտրոններին, ապա դեռևս խնդիր կա՝ չեն վաճառվում կտորից տոպրակներ: Ու երբ մարդիկ գնում են մանր առևտրի կենտրոն՝ կանգնում են լուրջ խնդրի առջև: Ինքս գնել եմ 2 տոպրակ, որն ինձ երկար ժամանակ կծառայի: Կկարողանամ հանգիստ առևտուր անել նաև փոքր խանութներից: Մենք պետք է սրան սովորենք»։
