Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,
Այսօր մենք նշում ենք Հայոց բանակի կազմավորման 30-ամյակը:
 
Ոչ վաղ անցյալում մեզ համար այն համազգային մեծ տոն էր: Հայոց բանակը, նրա յուրաքանչյուր ծառայող իրավամբ մեծ դերակատարում է ունեցել Հայոց պետականության կերտման և պաշտպանության գործում:
 
Այս օրը ևս մեկ առիթ է հիշելու, գնահատելու և խոնարհվելու այն հազարավոր հայորդիների առաջ, ովքեր իրենց կյանքն են տվել մեր հայրենիքի պաշտպանության համար, ովքեր բավականին բարդ ու դժվարին պայմաններում ծառայել են և ծառայում են մեր հայրենիքին:
 
Ցավոք, արդեն երկու տարի է այս տոնը մեզ համար փոքր-ինչ մթագնել է. բանակը գտնվում է դժվարին կացության մեջ, իսկ երկրի առաջ ահռելի անվտանգային մարտահրավերներ են ծառացած:
 
Սակայն ուզում եմ՝ բոլորս հստակ գիտակցենք, որ խնդիրների մեծ մասը քաղաքական են, դրանք քաղաքական ղեկավարության ապիկարության հետևանք են: Մեր բանակի, մեր զինվորի ոգին նույնն է, նրանք պատրաստ են նույն նվիրումով պաշտպանելու մեր հայրենիքը:
 
Մեր բանակն, այո՛, այսօր վիրավոր է, սակայն այն կա և, վստահ եմ, դառնալու է ավելի ուժեղ, ավելի մարտունակ: Առաջիկա տարիների պետական կառավարումը պետք է իրականացվի՝ «Ամեն ինչ զինվորի համար, ամեն ինչ բանակի համար» կարգախոսով: Հակառակ դեպքում մենք այս տարածաշրջանում որպես պետություն, որպես ինքնուրույն սուբյեկտ ուղղակի այլևս ասելիք չենք ունենա: Ուստի, յուրաքանչյուրիս խնդիրն է անել հնարավոր ամեն բան բանակը վերակառուցելու, այն ավելի ուժեղ դարձնելու համար:
 
Հայոց բանակը վայելել է և պետք է շարունակի վայելել մեր ժողովրդի անվերապահ աջակցությունը և վստահությունը:
Ես հավատում եմ մեր բանակի վաղվա օրվան, հավատում եմ հայ զինվորականի խիզախ ոգուն, հավատում եմ, որ մենք առաջիկայում ևս մեր բանակով հպարտանալու բազմաթիվ առիթներ եք ունենալու:

Շնորհավոր տոնդ հայ զինվոր,
Շնորհավոր բոլորիս տոնը...
 
Հ.Գ. Այս խորհրդանշական օրը մեկնել էինք առաջնագիծ մեր մշտական հավատարմությունը և սատարումը վերահաստատելու մեր զինվորականներին և Հայոց բանակին:
