Հայաստանում կորոնավիրուսային համավարակի թվերը շեշտակի աճում են, բայց հիվանդություն ավելի թեթև է ընթանում։

Այս թեմայի մասին զրուցել ենք համաճարակաբան Մերի Տեր-Ստեփանյանի հետ։

Հարցին, թե արդյոք «օմիկրոն» տեսակի հետ գործ ունենք` համաճարակաբանն ասաց. «Կարծում եմ, որ այո, սա «օմիկրոնն» է, որովհետև աշխարհի փորձը ցույց է տալիս, որ այսպիսի արագությամբ տարածվում է «օմիկրոնը», որի վարակելիությունը մի քանի անգամ ավելի բարձր է, քան նախորդ շտամի դեպքում։ Եվ հիվանդությունն անհամեմատ ավելի թեթև է ընթանում, թոքաբորբի հաճախականությունը ավելի քիչ է, առավելապես վերին շնչուղիներն են ախտահարվում։ Երևի թե կոպիտ սահմանափակումների անհրաժեշտություն չի առաջանա այս դեպքում, քանի որ առողջապահական համակարգը հասցնում է իր գործունեությունը ծավալել։ Մյուս կողմից, երեխաների շրջանում են ավելի շատ դեպքեր արձանագրվում։ Սա մի կողմից վիրուսի առանձնահատկությունն է, մյուս կողմից՝ երեխաների ցածր պատվաստումային ընդգրկվածությունն է դեր խաղում ու նրանց սերտ շփումները միմյանց հետ։ Այսինքն՝ կարծես թե վիրուսը գնում է դեպի գրիպի տարբերակ՝ ավելի թեթև ընթացք, ավելի ինտենսիվ տարածում»։

Հարցին, թե միջազգային ի՞նչ հետազոտություններ կան և արդյո՞ք վիրուսը թուլանում է, թե՞ նոր ավելի վտանգավոր շտամեր կարող են ի հայտ գալ` համաճարակաբանն ասաց. «Դա դժվար է կանախատեսել։ «Օմիկրոնի» առանձնահատկությունն այն է, որ ավելի հաճախ է գրանցվում կրկնավարակ, այսինքն՝ 90 օր անց ՊՇՌ թեստի դրական պատասխան ավելի մեծ թվով մարդկանց մոտ է գրանցվում։ Այսինքն՝ հետինֆեկցիոն իմունիտետն այնքան էլ լավ չի պաշտպանում «օմիկրոնից»։ Նույնը կարելի է որոշ չափով ասել հետպատվաստումային իմունիտետի մասին։ Իհարկե, էլի ծանր դեպքերն ու մահերը շատ չեն, բայց ինչպես «դելտայի» ու «ալֆայի» դեպքում, լիարժեք պաշտպանություն, ցավոք սրտի, չկա»։
