Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր ընդունել է Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության էներգետիկայի նախարար, հայ-իրանական միջկառավարական հանձնաժողովի իրանական կողմի համանախագահ Համիդ Չիթչիանին:
Նախագահը ողջունել է հյուրին և նրա գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը՝ գոհունակությամբ արձանագրելով փաստը, որ հայ-իրանական միջկառավարական հանձնաժողովի նիստերի ժամանակացույցը չի խախտվում՝ նախորդ նիստից ուղիղ մեկ տարի անց Երևանում անցկացվում է հերթական՝ 13-րդ նիստը: Սերժ Սարգսյանը հույս է հայտնել, որ երկկողմ համագործակցության օրակարգը հանձնաժողովի նիստի արդյունքում ավելի է հարստացել, ձեռք են բերվել նոր պայմանավորվածություններ: Բարեկամ Իրանի հետ Հայաստանի հարաբերությունների խորացման գործում Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը մեծապես կարևորել է միջկառավարական հանձնաժողովի դերը և հանձնաժողովի համանախագահ, էներգետիկայի նախարար Համիդ Չիթչիանի անձնական ներդրումը: Ընդգծելով, որ Հայաստանը մեծապես կարևորում է բարեկամ Իրանի հետ հարաբերությունները, ՀՀ Նախագահը նշել է, որ երկու երկրների միջև հաստատված անկեղծ երկխոսությունն ու փոխադարձ վստահությունը ենթադրում են բարձրաստիճան փոխայցերի դինամիկայի պահպանում՝ համագործակցության երկկողմ օրակարգն ավելի ընդլայնելու և զարգացնելու նպատակով:
Զրուցակիցները երկուստեք առանձնակի կարևորել են առևտրատնտեսական հարաբերությունների խթանման և այդ ոլորտում առկա մեծ ներուժը լիարժեքորեն օգտագործելու անհրաժեշտությունը: ՀՀ Նախագահը և Համիդ Չիթչիանը հանդիպմանը հանգամանորեն քննարկել են Հայաստանի և Իրանի համար մեծ կարևորություն ունեցող համատեղ, այդ թվում՝ ենթակառուցվածքային ծրագրերի իրականացման ընթացքն ու նոր նախագծերի, փոխշահավետ ներդրումային ծրագրերի իրականացման հնարավորությունները:
Սերժ Սարգսյանը և Համիդ Չիթչիանն անդրադարձել են նաև տարածաշրջանային համագործակցությանն առնչվող հարցերի: Այդ համատեքստում նրանք գոհունակությամբ են փաստել, որ իրականություն է դառնում Հյուսիս-հարավ էլեկտրաէներգետիկ ծրագիրը, ինչը ենթադրում է համապատասխան համակարգերի զուգահեռ աշխատանք Իրանի, Հայաստանի, Վրաստանի և Ռուսաստանի միջև: Իրանի էներգետիկայի նախարարի կարծիքով, Երևանում երեկ կայացած հիշյալ երկրների էներգետիկայի ոլորտի պատասխանատուների քառակողմ հանդիպումը կարևոր և արդյունավետ քայլ էր տարածաշրջանի այդ երկրների համերաշխության տեսանկյունից և նոր որակ է հաղորդում ինչպես երկկողմ, այնպես էլ բազմակողմ ձևաչափով համագործակցության զարգացմանը:
