Խորհրդարանական ընդդիմությունը շարունակում է պնդել, որ իշխանությունն իրականացնում է, իրենց խոսքով՝ իրավական բեսպրեդել, որ թևակոխում ենք բռնապետություն: Այսօր էլ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանն է հայտարարություն է տարածել նշելով, որ դատական համակարգում «կատարվողը իրավական պետության քայքայումն է՝ միջազգային կառույցների լուռ աջակցությամբ»:
Այս թեմայի մասին զրուցել ենք քաղաքագետ Սուրեն Սուրենյանցի հետ։
Հարցին, թե ինչպե՞ս է գնահատում տեղի ունեցող գործընթացները քաղաքագետն ասաց. «Միջազգային հանրության դերակատարության վրա շատ մեծ շեշտադրում չէի անի. այո՛, միջազգային հանրությունը շատ դեպքերում աչք է փակում Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցող իրադարձությունների վրա: Բայց դա ինձ համար նորություն չէ, որովհետև ես ձեզ տված հարցազրույցներից մեկում ասել եմ, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի իշխանության երկարաձգման շուրջ գոյություն ունի միջազգային կոնսենսուս, այս պայմաններում միջազգային դերակատարները շատ ավելի լոյալ են վերաբերվում տեղի ունեցող իրադարձություններին: Միջազգային կառույցների, պետությունների արձագանքի հիմքում առաջնային են ոչ թե արժեքները, այլ՝ կոնկրետ շահերը:
Մյուս կողմից՝ չեմ կիսում այն կարծիքը, որ միջազգային կառույցները լրիվ անտարբեր են: Բացի այդ, մենք՝ որպես հասարակություն, պետք է գիտակցենք, որ ժողովրդավարության խնդիրն առաջին հերթին մեր լուծելիքն է, այսինքն՝ մենք պետք է մաքսիմում քայլեր անենք, հետո նոր ակնկալենք որոշակի արձագանք դրսից: Երկրում իսկապես իրավական բեսպրեդել է, որովհետև երեկ դատավոր Բորիս Բախշիյանը կալանավորվեց իր գործունեության համար»։
