ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի կարծիքով՝ Հայաստանի միջազգային իմիջը, բրենդը ժողովրդավարությունն է: Նա այս մասին ասաց ԱԺ-ում կառավարության անդամների հետ հարցուպատասխանին՝  անդրադառնալով ՔՊ-ից Սերգեյ Բագրատյանի հարցին:

Բագրատյանը Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին խնդրեց պատասխանել ընդդիմադիրներին, ովքեր պարբերաբար հիշեցնում են, որ Փաշինյանը ընդդիմադիր գործիչ եղած ժամանակ ունեցել է այլ կարծիք, իսկ իշխանության գալուց հետո կարծիքները փոխվել են:

Փաշինյանը նկատեց՝ ասում են, որ ինքը ժամանակին ասել է, որ բուհերը պետք է կուսակցական չլինեն: «Այո, ասել եմ: Բայց արդյունքում պարզվեց, որ բուհերում կուսակցական թաքնված բջիջներ են ծվարել: Մեկ էլ մի X պահի բուհերը դարձել էին ընդդիմադիր բջիջներ: Ասում են՝ ասել ենք, որ դիվանագիտական ծառայության մեջ քաղաքական նշանակումներ սահմանափակ ենք անելու, բայց հիմա ասում ենք, որ սահմանափակ չենք անելու՝ ձեզ հայտնի պատճառներով»,-ասաց վարչապետը:

Փաշինյանը նշեց՝ ասում են՝ դրա համար էլ միջազգային գործընկերներից իշխանությունը ստանում է այսպիսի արձագանք: Նա առաջարկեց գույքագրել, թե ինչ արձագանք է ստացվում: «Միջազգային գործընկերներից ստանում ենք արձագանք, որ Հայաստանը ժողովրդավարական պետություն է, որ Հայաստանում ընտրությունները չեն կեղծվում»,-ասաց Փաշինյանը:

Նա հավելեց. «Երբ Հայաստանին հրավիրում են ժողովրդավարության համաժողովի մասնակցելու, ուրիշ երկրների են հրավիրում, այդ երկրները նեղվում են, երբ Հայաստանին համարում են ժողովրդավարական երկիր, ուրիշ երկրների չեն համարում, այդ երկրները նեղվում են, երբ ասում են, որ ՀՀ-ում իշխանությունները լեգիտիմ են, ուրիշ տեղ լեգիտիմ չեն…Հայաստանում իրադարձություններ են եղել, դուք ինձ տեսե՞լ եք ավտոմատով փողոցներում քայլելիս: Կամ, որ ասում են, թե «Հայաստանի հետ այսպես են վարվում»: Իսկ, որ Ղարաբաղում այցելության համար միջազգային հայտնի լրագրողի ձերբակալում, արտահանձնում էին Ադրբեջանին, դա Հայաստանի նկատմամբ ապտա՞կ էր, թե՞ ապտակ չէր, երբ սկսեց զենքի միլիարդների վաճառքը Ադրբեջանին, բա ո՞ւր էիք, բա ինչո՞ւ ձայն չէիք հանում, կամ ասում են, թե «ՀՀ կառավարությունը Հայաստանի հասցեին հնչած բաներին լավ չի արձագանքում», քաղաքական մեծամասնությունը բոլորին էլ արձագանքել է»:

Փաշինյանը հորդորեց ընդդիմությանը, եթե իրենց դուր չի գալիս, թող նրանք արձագանքեն:

«Այո, այսօր Հայաստանի միջազգային իմիջը, բրենդը ժողովրդավարությունն է: Սա մեզ համար և մարտահրավերներ է առաջ բերում, և հնարավորություններ»,-ասաց վարչապետը՝ վստահեցնելով, որ լեզվակռիվ անելու խնդիր չունեն, ռազմավարական նպատակները արձանագրել են, դրա իրագործման համար ժողովրդի վստահության քվեն ստացել են և իրագործելու են:
