«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է. Ստեփանակերտի օդանավակայանի կարգավիճակն այս պահին նույնն է, չի փոխվել: «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի հետ զրույցում այս մասին ասաց Արցախի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Դավիթ Բաբայանը: Հիշեցնենք, որ օրերս «Ստեփանակերտի օդանավակայան» ՓԲԸ-ի գործադիր տնօրենն ազատվել էր զբաղեցրած պաշտոնից, ինչն էլ փորձագիտական շրջանակներին մտահոգվելու տեղիք էր տվել, թե գուցե ինչ-որ բան է փոխվում օդակայանի կարգավիճակի հետ կապված:

Ըստ «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի տեղեկությունների՝ Արցախի գլխավոր օդանավակայանն առաջիկայում կարող է վերագործակվել ռուսական կողմի հետ համագործակցությամբ ու անմիջական միջամտությամբ։ Մեզ հետ զրույցում նախարար Բաբայանը նշեց, որ վերոնշյալ ազատման մեջ քաղաքական որեւէ տարր չկա: Ինչ վերաբերում է օդակայանի վերաբացմանը կամ ռուսական կողմի հետ համագործակցելուն, ապա արգործնախարարը նշեց. «Իհարկե բոլորս էլ ուզում ենք, շահագրգռված ենք, որ վերագործարկվի, բայց դրա համար ժամանակ է երեւի պետք: Ինչ վերաբերում է ռուսների հետ համագործակցելուն, ապա տեսնենք էլի, կփորձենք ամեն բան անել, որ այն վերագործարկվի»:

Տեղեկության մասով ԱՀ տարածքային կառավարման ու ենթակառուցվածնքերի նախարարությունից, ինչի ենթակայության տակ է գտնվում օդանավակայանը, մեզ փոխանցեցին հետեւյալը. «Օդանավակայանի վերաբացումը բանակցությունների փուլում է, իսկ ռուս խաղաղապահների հետ համագործակցություն միանշանակ կա»։
