Բայդենը պաշտպանական բյուջեի համար Կոնգրեսից կպահանջի ավելի քան 770 մլրդ դոլար
INTERNATIONAL NEWSԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը Կոնգրեսից կպահանջի ավելի քան 770 մլրդ դոլար հաջորդ ֆինանսական տարում պաշտպանական ծրագրերի ֆինանսավորման համար, տեղեկացրել է Reuters-ը։
Գումարը, որ 17 մլրդ դոլարով ավելին է, քան Բայդենն անցած տարի պահանջել էր օրենսդիրներից, զինված ուժերն արդիականացնելու Պենտագոնի ձգտման արդյունքն է, տեղեկացրել է երեք աղբյուր։
Նրանց խոսքով՝ վերջնական գումարը կարող է փոխվել, քանի որ 2023 ֆինանսական տարվա (սկսվում է հոկտեմբերի 1-ից) բյուջեի մասին բանակցությունները շարունակվում են պաշտպանության նախարար Լլոյդ Օսթինի եւ Սպիտակ տան վարչաբյուջետային վարչության (OMB) միջեւ։
Ազգային պաշտպանության բյուջեն ներառում է պաշտպանության նախարարության ֆինանսավորումը, որը ծածկում է ամեն ինչ՝ տանկերից մինչեւ զինծառայողների աշխատավարձերը, ինչպես նաեւ միջուկային զենքի ստեղծման ծրագրերը՝ էներգետիկայի նախարարության շրջանակում։
2023 ֆինանսական տարվա պաշտպանական բյուջեն ուղղվելու է նավաշինությանը, տիեզերքում նոր հնարավորությունների ստեղծմանը, հրթիռային հարձակման մասին նախազգուշական համակարգերի կատարելագործմանը եւ ատոմային սուզանավերի, ռմբակոծիչների ու հրթիռների թարմացմանը, տեղեկացրել է աղբյուրներից մեկը։
Մյուս աղբյուրը տեղեկացրել է, որ Պենտագոնը կշարունակի փող ներդնել ռազմական այնպիսի պոտենցիալի հետազոտման եւ զարգացման մեջ, որը կարող էր համեմատվել Չինաստանի եւ Ռուսաստանի պոտենցիալի հետ ապագայում ցանկացած հակամարտության դեպքում։
Պենտագոնը նաեւ հույս ունի միջոցներ խնայել ի հաշիվ այն բանի, որ շահագործումից դուրս բերվեն հին եւ քիչ պահանջված այն սպառազինությունները, ներառյալ A-10 Warthogը, որոնք հիմնականում օգտագործվել են Աֆղանստանում։
Անցած տարի Բայդենը օրենսդիրներից պահանջել էր մոտ 753 մլրդ դոլար 2022 ֆինանսական տարվա ազգային պաշտպանության բյուջեի համար, որը վերջնարդյունքում ավելացվեց՝ հասնելով 768,2 մլրդ դոլարի։
