SOCIETYԼրանում է Գուրգեն Մարգարյանի գազանաբարո սպանության հերթական տարելիցը։
2004թ. փետրվարի 19-ին Հայաստանի Զինված ուժերի սպա Գուրգեն Մարգարյանը, որը Բուդապեշտում անգլերենի դասընթացների էր մասնակցում ՆԱՏՕ «Գործընկերություն հանուն խաղաղության» ծրագրի շրջանակում, կացնահարվեց ադրբեջանցի սպա ռամիլ սաֆարովի կողմից։
Մի քանի փորձաքննություն կատարվեց։ Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունները փորձեցին կաշառել հոգեբույժներին, որոնք կատարում էին փորձաքննությունը, չէ՞ որ ցնցված Հունգարիան չէր կարողացել հավատալ, որ հոգեպես առողջ մարդը կարող է նման հրեշավոր հանցագործություն կատարել։ Դատավարությունը շարունակվեց երկու տարի։ Հունգարիան մարդասպանին դատապարտեց ցմահ բանտարկության՝ 30 տարվա ընթացքում առանց ներման իրավունքի։ Դատավճիռն ընթերցվեց 2006թ. ապրիլի 3-ին։
Հունգարիայի այն ժամանակվա արտգործնախարար Կինգա Գենցը 2008թ. այցով Երեւանում գտնվելով՝ պատասխանել էր սաֆարովին Ադրբեջանին վերադարձնելու հնարավորության մասին հարցին եւ նշել, որ նման հնարավորություն կա, բայց Հունգարիան այդպիսի պարտավորություն չունի։ «ռամիլ սաֆարովի արարքը հունգարական հասարակության համար ցնցում էր։ սաֆարովին վերադարձնելու հնարավորություն կա, բայց Հունգարիան այդպիսի պարտավորություն չունի։ Բոլոր հարցերը, որոնք վերաբերում են սաֆարովին, դիտարկվելու են շատ լուրջ։ Ամենագլխավոր հարցն այն է, թե արդյոք սաֆարովն Ադրբեջանում կկրի ցմահ բանտարկությունը, թե ոչ»,- ասել էր նախարարը։
6 տարի անց այդ երկրի իշխանությունները՝ հանձին վարչապետ Վիկտոր Օրբանի, գործարք կնքեցին Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունների հետ։ Հունգարիան կաշառվեց ադրբեջանական նավթադոլարներով եւ արդարություն ու օրինականություն հասկացությունները փոխարինեց այսրոպեական շահով։ ռամիլ սաֆարովը վերադարձվեց հայրենիք, որտեղ անհապաղ ազատ արձակվեց՝ հերոսի կոչում ստանալով։ Նույն օրը՝ 2012թ. օգոստոսի 31-ին, Հայաստանը դադարեցրեց դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունները Հունգարիայի հետ։ Դրանք վերականգնված չեն առայսօր։
Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունները ոչ միայն փոխհատուցել են սաֆարովին՝ «հասցված վնասի» պատճառով (բնակարանի եւ կոչման տեսքով), այլեւ ազգային հերոսի կոչում են տվել։ Չնայած սրան՝ Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարանը ուղիղ կապ չի տեսել Ադրբեջան պետության եւ սաֆարովի արարքի միջեւ։ Ինչպես անձամբ սաֆարովը, այնպես էլ Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունները միանգամայն անպատիժ են մնացել։
