Հանրապետությունում դեկտեմբերի 23-ին գազից թունավորվել է 13 քաղաքացի, որից 6-ը՝ մանկահասակ երեխաներ:

Ոստիկանության լրատվական ծառայությունից հայտնում են, որ դեկտեմբերի 23-ին, ժամը 03.20-ին, հիվանդանոցից ոստիկանության Ստեփանավանի բաժնում հաղորդում է ստացվել, որ «գազի թունավորում» ախտորոշմամբ իրենց մոտ են տեղափոխվել 1980 թ. ծնված Հրաչյա Ա.-ն, 1980 թ. ծնված Լիանա Մ.-ն, 1990 թ. ծնված Մարգարիտա Ա.-ն, 2003 թ. ծնված Սոֆի Ա.-ն, 2005 թ. ծնված Գոհարիկ Ա.-ն եւ 2011 թ. ծնված Գեւորգ Ա.-ն:

Մեկնած օպերատիվ խումբը պարզել է, որ նրանք թունավորվել են իրենց տան լոգարանի տաքացուցիչից առաջացած շմոլ գազի արտահոսքի հետեւանքով:

Նույն օրը ժամը 20.30-ին հիվանդանոցից ոստիկանության Հրազդանի բաժնում հաղորդում է ստացվել, որ շմոլ գազի թունավորումով բուժօգնության են դիմել 1974 թ. ծնված Անահիտ Զ.-ն, 1995 թ. ծնված Մերի Զ.-ն եւ 2000 թ. ծնված Դանիել Զ.-ն:

Պարզվել է, որ նրանք թունավորվել են իրենց տանը խոհանոցում տեղադրված գազօջախի թերայրումից:

Ժամը 23.50-ին հիվանդանոցից ոստիկանության Մարտունու բաժնում հաղորդում է ստացվել, որ «շմոլ գազի թունավորում» ախտորոշմամբ բուժօգնության են տեղափոխվել 1947 թ. ծնված Աբով Բ.-ն, 1984 թ. ծնված Մեհրի Հ.-ն, 2002 թ. ծնված Լիլիթ Բ.-ն եւ 2004 թ. ծնված Մարիաննա Բ.-ն:

Մեկնած օպերատիվ խումբը պարզել է, որ նույն օրը, ժամը 22.30-ի սահմաններում, վերջիններս թունավորվել են իրենց տան խոհանոցում տեղադրված «ՈՒՐԱԼ» տեսակի ջրատաքացուցիչից արտանետված շմոլ գազից:
