Այսօր Անդրանիկ Զորավարի ծննդյան օրն է

Այսօր հայ մեծ զորավար Անդրանիկ Թորոսի Օզանյանի ծննդյան օրն է: Նա ծնվել է 1865 թ. փետրվարի 25-ին` Արևմտյան Հայաստանի Շապին Գարահիսար քաղաքում։ Նա անուրանալի ներդրում ու մասնակցություն է ունեցել Ազգային ազատագրական պայքարում` ղեկավարել է հայդուկային խմբերը և ահուսարսափ տարածել թշնամու շրջանում:
Նրա մուտքը Ազգային ազատագրական շարժում եղել է Սերոբ Վարդանյանի` Աղբյուր Սերոբի պարտիզանական ջոկատներով: Անդրանիկ Զորավարը ղեկավարել է 1901 թ. Առաքելոց վանքի կռիվները, կազմակերպել Աղբյուր Սերոբին սպանած Բշարե Խալիլի սպանությունը։ Անդրանիկ Օզանյանի մասնակցությունը ազգային ազատագրական պայքարին չի սահմանափակվում Հայաստանով: Նա իր անուրանալի դերն է ունեցել Բալկանյան պատերազմում: Օզանյանը 1912թ.-ին հայ կամավորներից կազմակերպել է վաշտ` մասնակցելով Բալկանյան պատերազմին:
Զորավարն արժանացել է 6 պարգևի` «Պատվո լեգեոնի ասպետ», «Սուրբ Վլադիմիրի չորրորդ աստիճան», «Սուրբ Գրիգոր Լուսավորչի առաջին աստիճան», «Սուրբ Ստանիսլավի 3-րդ աստիճան», «Գեորգիևյան 2-րդ աստիճանի խաչ» և «Պատերազմական 2-րդ աստիճանի խաչ»:
1918 թ. մայիսի 16-18-ին Վորոնցովկա ավանի մոտակայքում գեներալ-մայորի կոչման արժանացած Անդրանիկի դիվիզիան զսպել է օսմանյան զորքերին: 1918 թ. մայիսի 25-28-ին Լոռվա ճակատամարտում Անդրանիկը վիժեցրեց Դիլիջանի ուղղությամբ թուրքական զորքերի գլխավոր հարձակումը, որի արդյունքում թուրքական հրամանատարությունը ստիպված եղավ թողնել Լեռնային Լոռու մարզի մեծ մասը։
Մեծ է Անդրանիկի դերը Զանգեզուրի պաշտպանության գործում. հենց Անդրանիկի զորքերն էին մնում թուրքերի կողմից Կովկասի գրավման հիմնական խոչընդոտը, սակայն քաղաքական վերադասավորումների հետևանքով նա հեռացավ Հայաստանից:
Կյանքի վերջին տարիներն Անդրանիկ Օզանյանն անցկացրել է ԱՄՆ-ում և մահացել 1927 թ. օգոստոսի 31-ին` թաղվելով Ֆրեզնոյի «Արարարտ» գերեզմանատանը: 1928 թ. հունվարին նրա աճյունը փոխադրվել է Փարիզ և վերաթաղվեց Պեր-Լաշեզ գերեզմանոցում, իսկ 2000թ.-ին վերաթաղվել է ԵրևանիԵռաբլուր պանթեոնում։
