ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության նախարարության կողմից Ուկրաինայում տեղակայված կենսաբանական լաբորատորիաների վերջին բացահայտումները դարձել են միջազգային սկանդալի առարկա:

Հիշեցնեմ, որ ՌԴ ԶՈւ-ի կողմից Ուկրաինայի տարածքում հայտնաբերվել են մի քանի այդպիսի լաբորատորիաներ, որտեղ, ըստ հաստատված տվյալների, հետազոտություններ էին իրականացվում մարդու կյանքի և առողջության համար սպառնալիք ներկայացնող վարակների հարուցիչների վրա, ինչը, հաշվի առնելով ռազմական գերատեսչության ենթակայության տակ գտնվելը, որոշ փորձագետներ գնահատել են որպես կենսաբանական զենք:
Ըստ շրջանարվող տեղեկատվության, այդպիսի կենսաբանական լաբորատորիաների թիվը Ուկրաինայում հասնում է 30-ի, իսկ ամբողջ աշխարհում՝ 300:
Այդպիսի լաբորատորիաներ գործում են նաև Հայաստանի տարածքում, ինչը լուրջ անհանգստություն է առաջացրել Ռուսաստանի և Իրանի անվտանգային ծառայությունների համար:
Մինչ 44-օրյա պատերազմը ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարար Լավրովի հետ ՀՀ իշխանությունները պայմանավորվել էին բացել այդ լաբորատորիաների դռները ռուս մասնագետների համար, ինչը՝ իմ ունեցած տեղեկություններով, այդպես էլ տեղի չունեցավ:
Այս հանգամանքն էլ ավելի մեծացրեց մեր անհանգստությունն այս լաբորատորիաների գործունեությամբ, իսկ վերջին բացահայտումները փարատեցին վերջին կասկածներն առ այն, որ այդ լաբորատորիաները վտանգ են ներկայացնում ՀՀ քաղաքացիների կյանքի և առողջության համար:
Հետևաբար, ՀՀ քաղաքացիների կյանքի և առողջության պաշտպանության նպատակով, որպես ՀՀ ԱԺ պատգամավոր, առաջիկայում ձեռնամուխ եմ լինելու այդ լաբորատորիաների գործունեության նկատմամբ հաստատել անկախ մասնագիտական (հանրային) վերահսկողություն:
