ՀԱՅ-ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆ
1932- բացվել է Երևանի Մաքսիմ Գորկու անվան բանվորական թատրոնը, որը փակվել է 4 տարի անց` 1936 թվականին։
1938 -վախճանվել է գրականագետ, թարգմանիչ Հարություն Սուրխաթյանը։
2003-Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը երկրորդ անգամ ստանձնել է ՀՀ նախագահի պաշտոնը։
2004- Ազատության հրապարակում կայացել է «Արդարություն» դաշինքի և «Ազգային միաբանություն» կուսակցության համատեղ հանրահավաքը, որի ավարտին ցուցարարները քվեարկությամբ որոշել են անժամկետ նստացույց անցկացնել Ազատության հրապարակում՝ մինչև Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի հրաժարականը:
2008-Սերժ Սարգսյանը ստանձնել է Հայաստանի նախագահի պարտականությունները և հրամանագիր ստորագրել Տիգրան Սարգսյանին Հայաստանի Հանրապետության վարչապետ նշանակելու մասին:
2012 -վախճանվել է օպերային երգչուհի Լիլի Չուգասզյանը։
2013- հայերեն Վիքիպեդիան հատել է 45 000 հոդվածի շեմը։
2016-Բաշ Քարվենդ բնակավայրի մոտակայքում իրականացվել է Ապրիլ յան պատերազմի դիակների փոխանակում։ Հայկական կողմին է հանձնվել 18 զինծառայողի մարմին։ 2017-Երևանի ավագանու ընտրություններին մասնակցելու հայտ է ներկայացրել 3 քաղաքական ուժ՝ ՀՀԿ-ն, «Ելք» դաշինքն ու «Երկիր ծիրանի» կուսակցությունը։
2021- վախճանվել է ամերիկահայ ձեռնարկատեր, բարերար, «Հայաստան» համահայկական հիմնադրամի հոգաբարձուների խորհրդի անդամ Հրայր Հովնանյանը:

193- Սեպտիմիուս Սևերուսը հռոմեական զորքերի կողմից հռչակվել է Հռոմեական Կայսրության կայսր։
491- վախճանվել է բյուզանդական կայսր Զենոնը։
1241 -Լիգնիցայի ճակատամարտի ժամանակ Չինգիզ խանի թոռ Բայդուրի ղեկավարած մոնղոլ-թաթարական բանակը ջախջախել է Հենրիխ 2-րդ Բարեպաշտի գլխավորած գերմանա-լեհական բանակը։
1454 -Իտալիայի քաղաք-պետությունները կնքել են Լոդիական խաղաղության պայմանագիրը։
1492 -վախճանվել է Իտալիայի կառավարիչ Լորենցո Մեդիչին։
1553 -վախճանվել է ֆրանսիացի վանական և լեզվաբան Ֆրանսուա Ռաբլեն։
1609 -Իսպանիայից վտարել են մորիսկներին՝ քրիստոնեություն ընդունած մավրերին։
1626- վախճանվել է անգլիացի փիլիսոփա, պատմաբան, քաղաքական գործիչ, էմպիրիզմի հիմնադիր Ֆրենսիս Բեկոնը։
1667 -Փարիզում կայացել է աշխարհում առաջին հրապարակային մշակութային ցուցահանդեսը։
1682 -Ռոբերտ դե Սալը, խաչ տնկելով Միսիսիպիի դելտայում, հայտարարել է այն Ֆրանսիայի թագավոր Լյուդովիկոս 14-րդի կալված և անվանել Լուիզիանա։
1747 -Լոնդոնում պետական դավաճանության մեղադրանքով մահապատժի է ենթարկվել Լովատի 11-րդ լորդ Սայմոն Ֆրեյզերը, որը դարձել է վերջին մարդը Անգլիայում, որը դատարանի կողմից դատապարտվել է գլխատման։
1799 -անգլիացի քիմիկոս Հեմֆրի Դևին հայտնագործել է «ուրախացնող գազի» ցավազրկող հատկությունը։
1860 - ֆրանսիացի գյուտարար Էդուարդ դը Մարտենվիլը առաջին անգամ ձայնագրել է «Լուսնի լույսը» ֆրանսիական ժողովրդական երգը. ձայնագրությունը ներկայումս պահպանվում է փարիզյան արխիվում։
1865- ավարտվել է Ամերիկայի քաղաքացիական պատերազմը, որը սկսվել էր 1861 թվականի ապրիլի 12-ին։
1866 -«Քաղաքացիական իրավունքների մասին» օրենքը ԱՄՆ-ի բոլոր բնակիչներին տվել է հավասար իրավունքներ (բացառությամբ ռեզերվացիաներում և անմարդաբնակ տարածքներում ապրող հնդկացիների)։
