Երեկ, ապրիլի 10-ին, կրակոցեր են հնչել Սյունիքի մարզում։ Ժամը 23։20-ի սահմաններում ոստիկանության Գորիսի բաժին «Գորիս» բժշկական կենտրոնից ահազանգ է ստացվել, որ «կրծքավանդակի աջ կեսի առաջային մակերեսի վերք, ձախ անոթափոսի վերք հրազենային բնույթի» ախտորոշմամբ՝ իրենց մոտ է տեղափոխվել քաղաքացու դի։

Shamshyan.com-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ ոստիկանները պարզել են, որ մահացածը Գորիս քաղաքի բնակիչ 56-ամյա Գուրգեն Խաչատրյանն էր։

Ոստիկանության Սյունիքի մարզային վարչության, ոստիկանության Գորիսի բաժնի քրեական հետախուզության և համայնքային ոստիկանության բաժանմունքների ծառայողները, հետո նրանց միացած Հայաստանի քննչական կոմիտեի Սյունիքի մարզային քննչական վարչության քննիչները՝ վարչության պետ Սարգիս Մարգարյանի և ավագ քննիչ Մկրտչյանի գլխավորությամբ, ձեռնարկելով անհրաժեշտ օպերատիվ և քննչական համատեղ գործողություններ, տաք հետքերով պարզել են, որ նույն օրը, ժամը 23։00-ի սահմաններում Գորիս քաղաքի Գետափնյա փողոցի 13 շենքի հարևանությամբ Գորիսի բնակիչ 32-ամյա Հարություն Սինանյանը անձնական հարցերի շուրջ ծագած վիճաբանության ժամանակ իր մոտ գտնվող հրազենով կրակել է Գ․ Խաչատրյանի վրա, ինչն էլ դարձել է վերջինիս մահվան պատճառ։

Դեպքի վայրում հայտնաբերվել են 9 մմ տրամաչափի 3 հատ կրակված պարկուճներ, դանակ և արնանման հետքեր։ Քննիչի որոշմամբ՝ նշանակվել են դատաձգաբանական, դատակենսաբանական և դիակի դատաբժշկական փորձաքննություններ։

Կայքի տեղեկություններով՝ սպանության կասկածանքով որոնվող Հ․ Սինանյանը Գորիսում հայտնի, ընդդիմադիր հայացքներ ունեցող քաղաքական գործիչներից մեկի ընկերն է։
