Բաքուն ԵՄ-ի հետ մեծ հույսեր է կապում Հայաստանի հետ հարաբերությունների կարգավորման բանակցություններում։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը, գրում է minval.az-ը։

«Ընդհանուր առմամբ Բրյուսելում կայացած հանդիպման արդյունքները դրական եմ համարում։ Այդ մասին ես հանրությանը հայտնել եմ ապրիլի 12-ին։ Հաջորդ օրը Հայաստանի վարչապետը բացեիբաց խոսեց կարգավորման գործընթացի և Հայաստանի կողմից Ադրբեջանի առաջ քաշած հինգ սկզբունքների ընդունման մասին։ Սա գործընթացի ևս մեկ շրջադարձային կետ է:

Հիմա երկու կողմերի պաշտոնական հայտարարություններից հետո մենք պետք է հաստատենք մեր մտադրությունների լրջությունը բանակցությունների սեղանի շուրջ։ Այստեղ մենք մեծ հույսեր ենք կապում Եվրամիության ջանքերի, հատկապես նախագահ Շառլ Միշելի հետ, որն արդեն ակտիվորեն ներգրավված է այս գործընթացում։ Նա քաջատեղյակ է իրավիճակին։ Կարծում եմ, որ սա շատ խոստումնալից միջավայր է ստեղծում հաջող բանակցությունների համար»,- ասել է նա՝ ընդունելով Հարավային Կովկասում ԵՄ հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Տոյվո Կլաարին։

Մարտի 14-ին Ադրբեջանի ԱԳՆ մամուլի ծառայության ղեկավար Լեյլա Աբդուլլաևան հայտնել է, որ Բաքուն Երևան է ներկայացրել երկու երկրների միջև հարաբերությունների կարգավորման հինգ հիմնական սկզբունք պարունակող առաջարկներ։ Դրանք ներառում են պետությունների կողմից ինքնիշխանության, տարածքային ամբողջականության, սահմանների անձեռնմխելիության և միմյանց քաղաքական անկախության փոխադարձ ճանաչումը, միմյանց նկատմամբ տարածքային պահանջների բացակայության և ապագայում նման պահանջներ չներկայացնելու պարտավորության փոխադարձ հաստատումը և ուժի կիրառման սպառնալիքների մերժումը։ Առաջարկները ներառում են նաև սահմանազատում և սահմանագծում և դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատում, տրանսպորտային և այլ հաղորդակցությունների բացում և փոխադարձ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող այլ ոլորտներում համագործակցության հաստատում։
