Թագուհի Թովմասյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.
 
«Լրագրողների նկատմամբ ենթադրյալ անհամաչափ բռնության կապակցությամբ արդեն նախազգուշացում է տեղադրվել մեր հարթակում՝ խթանելու լրագրության պաշտպանությունն ու լրագրողների անվտանգությունը։ Սպասում ենք իշխանությունների պատասխանին», - Եվրոպայի խորհրդի գլխավոր քարտուղար Մարիա Պեյչինովիչ Բուրիչը պատասխանել է ոստիկանական բռնությունների մասին իմ գրություններին։
 
Ապրիլի 29-ին և մայիսի 2-ին խաղաղ ակցիա իրականացնող քաղաքացիների նկատմամբ ոստիկանության կողմից անհամաչափ ուժ կիրառելու դեպքերի, դրանց արդյունքում քաղաքացիներին հասցված մարմնական վնասվածքների, ինչպես նաև լրագրողների նկատմամբ բռնության դեպքերի մասին գրություններ էի ուղարկել Եվրոպայի խորհրդի գլխավոր քարտուղար Մարիա Պեյչինովիչ Բուրիչին։ Քարտուղարին մանրամասն ներկայացրել էի Հայաստանում տիրող իրավիճակը և ոստիկանների ակնհայտ կանոնակարգված բռնի, մարդու իրավունքները ոտնահարող գործողությունները։ Խնդրել էի համապատասխան արձագանք տալ այս դեպքերին, քանի որ նրա հանրային կարծիքը մեծ դերակատություն ունի բռնության կանխարգելման և մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության հարցում։
 
Գլխավոր քարտուղարը, պատասխանելով իմ գրություններին, նշել է, որ խաղաղ հավաքներ իրականացնելու ազատությունը ժողովրդավարական, հանդուրժող և բազմակարծիք հասարակության հիմքերից է, որը երաշխավորված է Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական կոնվենցիայով, ինչպես մեկնաբանվում է Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարանի կողմից, այդ թվում՝ Հայաստանին վերաբերող գործերով։
 
ԵԽ գլխավոր քարտուղարն ակնկալում է, որ իր գործողություններում ոստիկանությունը որդեգրի մարդու իրավունքների վրա հիմնված մոտեցում, և իրավապահ մարմինների կողմից ուժի կիրառումը լինի օրինական, անհրաժեշտ, համաչափ և սահմանափակվի այն դեպքերով, երբ դա խիստ անխուսափելի է: Ուժը պետք է կիրառվի միայն անհրաժեշտության նվազագույն աստիճանով։
 
«Վստահ եղեք, որ Եվրոպայի խորհուրդը և նրա համապատասխան կառույցները կշարունակեն ուշադրությամբ հետևել ստեղծված իրավիճակին և աշխատել ՀՀ իշխանությունների հետ ինչպես անդամ մյուս երկրներում՝ այս սկզբունքները պահպանելու համար":
 
Տիկին Բուրիչն ամփոփում է, որ «Լրագրողների նկատմամբ ենթադրյալ անհամաչափ բռնություն կիրառելու կապակցությամբ նախազգուշացում է տեղադրված մեր հարթակում՝ խթանելու լրագրության պաշտպանությունն ու լրագրողների անվտանգությունը։ Սպասում ենք իշխանությունների պատասխանին»։
