Հայաստանում առկա քաղաքական սուր հակամարտության այս օրերին, լրիվ այլ՝ ամենևին ոչքաղաքական թեմայով հարցազրույցի ժամանակ Գ. Ծառուկյանն արել է մի ուշագրավ ձևակերպում, որը շատերի աչքից չի վրիպել։
 
Անդրադառնալով մրցութային հանձնաժողովի աշխատանքներին նա դնում է հետևյալ ձևակերպումը.
 
«Ես վստահ եմ ու հավաստիացնում եմ բոլորին, որ Քրիստոսի արձանի կառուցմամբ նոր էջ է բացվելու մեր ժողովրդի և պետության կյանքում. Հաջողության, խաղաղության, համերաշխության նոր էջ մեր երկրում։
 
Ի պատասխան սրան, լրագրողը ճշտում է. « Պարոն Ծառուկյան, փաստորեն Դուք բացի հոգևոր արժեքներից , նաև քաղաքակա՞ն ենթատեքստ եք դնում արձանի գաղափարում»։
 
Ծառուկյանի պատասխանը դիվանագիտական էր. « Հաջողության և զարգացման հիմքում առաջին հերթին պետք է լինի ներքին համերաշխություն։ Չեղավ համերաշխություն, չի լինի ոչինչ…
 
Եթե դուք սա համարում եք քաղաքական բովանդակություն, ապա ես դեմ չեմ»։
 
Եթե մի պահ վերանում ենք պայմանականություններից, օբյեկտիվ իրավիճակից, ընդդիմություն-իշխանություն առկա սուր կոնֆլիկտից, ապա այս ձևակերպումը հարյուր տոկոսանոց քաղաքական է։
 
Սա ասում է մի գործիչ, ով ժամանակին եղել է ընդդիմության առաջնորդը և ում մի կոչով 50-60 հազար մարդ դուրս էր գալիս փողոց ու պահանջում փոփոխություններ երկրում։
 
Եվ երբ հիմա նա օրակարգ է բերում հաջողության, խաղաղության, համերաշխության թեզը, պետք է հիշել նաև, որ նրա հանդեպ տարբեր իշխանությունների կողմից եղել է լրիվ հակառակը. խաղաղության փոխարեն՝ քաղաքական պատերազմ, համերաշխության փոխարեն՝ թշնամանք։
 
Ընդհանրապես մեր երկրի 30 ամյա անկախ պետականության պատմությունը հագեցած է եղել թշնամանքով ու անհանդուրժողականությամբ, և նրանք որպես մթնոլորտ գերիշխող են եղել՝ միշտ։ Ինչի՞ հանգեցրեց դա. Այն վիճակին, որը մենք այսօր ունենք։
 
Հիմա մեր պետությունը կանգնած է ծանր անորոշ հեռանկարի առաջ։ իսկապես շատ հարցերի պատասխան ոչ միայն մենք չունենք մեր մասին, այլև՝ գերտերությունները։ Իսկ ժողովուրդը գտնվում է համատարած հուսահատության մեջ։
Ակնհայտ է, որ Հայաստանին պետք է նոր հանրային և նոր քաղաքական օրակարգ։ Հայաստանի վերականգնման և զարգացման նոր հայկական օրակարգ։ Եվ հաջողություն կլինի միայն այն դեպքում, երբ այդ օրակարգի հիմնական թեզը լինի՝ հաջողությունը, խաղաղությունը, համերաշխությունը։
 
Սրանք ձևակերպումներ են, որոնք ստեղծելու են մթնոլորտ երկրի ներսում։ Մի երկիր,որտեղից մարդիկ չեն ուզենա փախչել։ Այլ ապրել, արարել, ընտանիք կազմել, զարգանալ։ Սա էլ կլինի Հայաստանի նոր էջը։
