Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանն ու Լիանա Գյուրջյանը «2021 թվականի Եվրոպայի լավագույն ծանրորդ» անվանակարգի հավակնորդներ են:
Ծանրամարտի եվրոպական ֆեդերացիան նախորդ շաբաթ հայտարարել է 2021 թվականի Եվրոպայի լավագույն կին եւ տղամարդ ծանրորդների քվերակության մասին: «Եվրոպայի լավագույն ծանրորդ» անվանակարգում տասը թեկնածուների կազմում է Հայաստանի առաջատար ծանրորդ, Ռիոյի եւ Տոկիոյի Օլիմպիական խաղերի փոխչեմպիոն, կրկնակի աշխարհի եւ Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը: «2021 թվականի Եվրոպայի լավագույն կին ծանրորդ» անվանակարգում տասը թեկնածուներից մեկն էլ Եվրոպայի բրոնզե մեդալակիր, աշխարհի երիտասարդական չեմպիոն, Եվրոպայի կրկնակի երիտասարդական չեմպիոն Լիանա Գյուրջյանը:
Քվեարկությունն անցկացվում է եվրոպական ֆեդերացիայի պաշտոնական կայքում եւ կտեւի մինչեւ մայիսի 21-ը, ժամը 12:00-ն: Արդյունքներն ամփոփվելու են 2022 թվականի Եվրոպայի առաջնության ժամանակ:
Լավագույն կին եւ տղամարդ անվանակարգերում հաղթող ճանաչված ծանրորդները մրցանակները կստանան Եվրոպայի առաջնության բացման արարողության ժամանակ, որը տեղի է ունենալու մայիսի 27-ին Ալբանիայի մայրաքաղաք Տիրանայում: Այս տարի ծանրամարտի Եվրոպայի առաջնությունը 100-րդ հոբելյանական է:
