Միացյալ Նահանգները պատրաստ է շարունակել աջակցել Հայաստանին ու Ադրբեջանին հարաբերությունների կարգավորման գործում՝ այդ թվում և ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ երկրի կարգավիճակում: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին լրագրողների հետ ճեպազրույցում հայտնել է ԱՄՆ պետդեպի խոսնակ Նեդ Փրայսը:
«Միացյալ Նահանգները ողջունում է Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև երկխոսությունը: Դրա շրջանակում՝ մենք շարունակում ենք հանձնառու լինել՝ խթանելու Հարավային Կովկասի տարածաշրջանի համար խաղաղ, ժողովրդավարական ու բարգավաճ ապագան: Մենք հաստատակամորեն հորդորում ենք, որ այս երկխոսությունը շարունակվի և կողմերն ինտենսիվացնեն իրենց դիվանագիտական ներգրավվածությունը՝ օգտվելու գոյություն ունեցող ուղղակի փոխգործակցության մեխանիզմներից, ձգտելու գտնել համապարփակ լուծումներ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության հետ կապված կամ դրա հետևանքով առաջացած բոլոր կարևոր հարցերի առնչությամբ, ինչպես նաև կարգավորելու իրենց հարաբերությունները համապարփակ խաղաղության համաձայնագրի կնքման միջոցով: Մենք պատրաստ ենք աջակցելու այս գործընթացին: Մենք շարունակում ենք պատրաստ լինել՝ աջակցելու Հայաստանին և Ադրբեջանին այս ջանքերում՝ այդ թվում և ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահի մեր կարգավիճակում»,- հայտարարել է Փրայսը:
