«Չելսիի» մամուլի ծառայությունը հայտարարել է սեփականատիրոջ փոփոխության մասին։ Թոդ Բոլիի գլխավորած կոնսորցիումը պաշտոնապես դարձավ ակումբի սեփականատերը։
«Eldridge-ի նախագահ և գործադիր տնօրեն Թոդ Բոլիի և Clearlake Capital Group LP-ի գլխավորած կոնսորցիումը այսօր հայտարարեց «Չելսի» ֆուտբոլային ակումբի սեփականության իրավունքի փոխանցման ավարտի մասին: .
Կոնսորցիումի կազմում են նաև Wyss հիմնադրամի հիմնադիր Հանսյորգ Վիսը և Guggenheim Capital-ի համահիմնադիր և գործադիր տնօրեն Մարկ Ուոլթերը: Ուոլթերին և Բոլիին են պատկանում են Լոս Անջելես Դոջերս, Լոս Անջելես Լեյքերս և Լոս Անջելես Սփարկս մարզական ակումբները: Գործարքը ստացել է բոլոր անհրաժեշտ հավանությունները Միացյալ Թագավորության կառավարության, Պրեմիեր լիգայի և այլ իշխանությունների կողմից», – ասվում է հայտարարության մեջ:
«Մեզ համար մեծ պատիվ է լինել «Չելսի» ֆուտբոլային ակումբի նոր սեփականատերը։ Որպես սեփականատերեր մեր տեսլականը պարզ է. մենք ցանկանում ենք, որ երկրպագուները հպարտանան մեզնով: Երիտասարդական թիմը զարգացնելու և բարձրակարգ տաղանդներ ներգրավելու մեր հանձնառության հետ մեկտեղ մեր ճանապարհային քարտեզն է` երկարաժամկետ ներդրումներ կատարել ակումբում և կառուցել ակումբի ակնառու հաջողության պատմությունը: Անձամբ ես ցանկանում եմ շնորհակալություն հայտնել բրիտանական կառավարության և Պրեմիեր լիգայի նախագահներին ու պաշտոնյաներին դա իրագործելու ուղղությամբ կատարած աշխատանքի համար»,- ասել է Բոլին, ում մեջբերում է լոնդոնյան ակումբի մամուլի ծառայությունը։
