ԱԺ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության եւ հանրային հարցերի մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Թագուհի Թովմասյանը հայտարարություն է տարածել, որտեղ ասվում է.
«Սույն թվականի մայիսի 17-ին ՀՀ ոստիկանության գործողությունների կապակցությամբ հերթական գրությունն էի հասցեագրել ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազին։ Կից ներկայացրել էի համապատասխան հղումներ ոստիկանության ծառայողների կողմից անհնազանդության խաղաղ ակցիա իրականացնող քաղաքացիներին բերման ենթարկելիս բռնի ուժի գործադրման ենթադրյալ հանգամանքների վերաբերյալ։
Դատախազին էի ներկայացրել նաև ահազանգ առ այն, որ ոստիկանության ծառայողներն առևանգել են ԱԺ պատգամավոր Թադևոս Ավետիսյանին՝ չտալով որևէ օրինական հիմնավորում։ Խնդրել էի ԱԺ պատգամավորին բերման ենթարկելու դեպքի առնչությամբ նշված գրությունը ընդունել որպես հաղորդում հանցագործության մասին և հանձնարարել իրավասու մարմիններին՝ քննության առնել ոստիկանության ծառայողների գործողությունները և համապատասխան ընթացք տալ։
ՀՀ հակակոռուպցիոն կոմիտեից ստացել եմ գրություն, համաձայն որի իմ գրությամբ նախապատրաստված նյութերով փաստական տվյալներ են ստացվել այն մասին, որ մշտապես իշխանության ներկայացուցչի գործառույթներ իրականացնող ՀՀ ոստիկանության պաշտոնատար անձինք, առերևույթ անցնելով իրենց պաշտոնեական լիազորությունները, բռնության գործադրմամբ՝ ձեռքերից և ոտքերից քաշելով, պարեկային ավտոմեքենայով ՀՀ ոստիկանության Կենտրոնական բաժին փաստացի բերման են ենթարկել խաղաղ անհնազանդության ակցիա իրականացնող՝ ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի պատգամավոր Թադևոս Էդիկի Ավետիսյանին, որի հետևանքով վերջինիս պատճառվել է ֆիզիկական ցավ։
ՀԿԳ քննիչի պաշտոնակատարը ծանուցում է, որ իմ գրության առթիվ նախապատրաստված նյութերով որոշում է կայացվել ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 309-րդ հոդվածի 2-րդ մասի հատկանիշներով քրեական գործ հարուցելու, այն վարույթ ընդունելու և նախաքննություն կատարելու մասին։
Հետևողական եմ լինելու քրեական գործերի ընթացքին և ոստիկանության կողմից շարունակվող ՀՀ քաղաքացիների իրավունքների խախտման յուրաքանչյուր դեպքի մասով»:
