Արցախի Արդարություն կուսակցության համանախագահ Հակոբ Հակոբյանը Ֆեյսբուքի իր էջում գրում է.
Սոփեստություն է կոչվում այնպիսի կշռադատությունը, որի մեջ հեղինակը, համոզված լինելով իր թեզիսի կեղծության մեջ, աշխատում է դիմացինին համոզել դրա ճշմարտության մեջ, մոլորության մեջ գցել նրան՝ թաքնված տրամաբանական սխալների կանխամտածված օգտագործումով։ Օրինակ՝ «Դու ունես այն, ինչ չես կորցրել, դու եղջյուրներ չես կորցրել, հետևաբար, դու եղջյուրներ ունես» (Եվբուլիդեսի «Եղջյուրավոր» սոփեստություն): Երեկվա Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի ելույթը ԱԺ-ում ոչ այլ ինչ էր, քան սոփեստության դասական ցուցադրություն: Նա ամբիոնից հայտարարում է, որ աննախադեպ չափերի հասնող գումար է տրամադրել Արցախին, նշանակում է` ինքը Արցախին շատ սիրում է, այնուհետև շարունակում, որ Արցախը Ադրբեջանի կազմում ցանկացել են, որ մնա նախկինները, և ինքը նախկիններից այնքան ազնիվ է, որ դրա մասին հիմա բարձրաձայնում է: Փաստորեն նախկինները շարունակ փորձել են Արցախը հանձնել Ադրբեջանին, բայց Ալիևը տարօրինակ ձևով չի համաձայնել, քանզի Արցախը այդպես էլ այդ նախկինների օրոք չհայտնվեց Ադրբեջանի կազմում: Իսկ իրականության մեջ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը փորձում էր հանրությանը համոզել, որ այլևս Արցախը կարող է գոյություն ունենալ միայն Ադրբեջանի կազմում՝ բայց դրա մեղավորը ինքը չէ, այլ նախկիններն են, և, որ Արցախը մեր համար հոգս է՝ տեսեք որքան գումար ենք հատկացնում նրանց: Փոխարենը Փաշինյանը չխոսեց, որ իր սեփական կետից բանակցություններ սկսելու և երկիրը կազմաքանդելու արդյունքում Հայկական պետականությունն այսօր թուլացած է առավել, քան երբեևէ, զուրկ է անգամ կապիտուլյացիոն հայտարարության դրույթներն իրականացնելու վճռականությունից, որով պետք է մեր զինվորները մնային զբաղեցրած դիրքերում, բոլոր գերիների անվերապահ հայրենադարձում պետք է լիներ և այլն։ Չասաց, որ Հայաստանն այսօր ոչ միայն չի վերահսկում սեփական ինքնիշխան տարածքը, այլև համարձակություն չունի ասելու՝ որտե՞ղ են սկսվում և ավարտվում Ադրբեջանի հետ մեր սահմանները: Եվ ստիպված Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը մոլորեցնում է սեփական ժողովրդին: Այս ամենը նշանակում է մի բան՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը նույնպես հասկանում է, որ ինքը պետք է գնա՝ մնում է հասկանալ թե երբ և ուր՝ այս հարցը արդեն ընթացքի մեջ է և շուտով կապացուցվի:
