Իրազեկ քաղաքացիների միավորում ՀԿ նախագահ Դանիել Իոաննիսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրառում է կատարել՝ անդրադառնալով օր առաջ հրապարակված ձայնագրությանը:  

«Ավետիք Չալաբյանը ձերբակալվեց առանց իր իմացության ու համաձայնության կատարված ձայնագրության հիմման վրա` դրա հրապարակման հաջորդ օրը։
Երկու օր առաջ հրապարակվեց Գագիկ Ջհանգիրյանի` առանց իր իմացության ու համաձայնության կատարված ձայնագրությունը, որում նա խոստովանում է մի քանի դրվագով արդարադատությանը խառնվելու մեջ։ Անցել է երկու օր, բայց անգամ գործ չի հարուցվել։
Հ.Գ. Ջհանգիրյանն էլ Չալաբյանն էլ քրեական օրենքով արգելված արարք են գործել, բայց Չալաբյանն այն արել է իշխանության դեմ, իսկ Ջհանգիրյանը` իշխանության համար»։
 
Հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանը 1or.am-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց, որ զարմացած է, թե ինչ-որ մարդիկ ակնկալում էին, որ Գագիկ Ջհանգիրյանը պետք է ենթարկվի պատասխանատվության կամ պաշտոնանակ արվի.
 
«Ես ավելին՝ դեռ վստահ եմ, որ առաջիկայում ևս մեկ քրեական գործ կհարուցեն Վարդազարյանի նկատմամբ՝ մարդուն առանց իր իմացության ձայնագրելու համար: Երբ իմ հեռախոսն էին գաղտնալսում, և «նիկոլական ՊՈԱԿ»-ը մոնտաժված ինչ-որ ձայնագրություններ էր սփռում սոցիալական ցանցերում, այդ ժամանակ իրավապաշտպանները լուռ էին և հենց իրենք էին տարածում էին այդ ձայնագրությունները: Երբ գաղտնալսում էին Ավետիք Չալաբյանին և մարդուն կալանավորում էին, նույն իրավապաշտպանները իրենց տերերի համար իրենց էին պատռում, սորոսական կույտը սեփական երկրի վրա ամեն օր «դանոսներ» էր գրում միջազգային կառույցներին: Իսկ այսօր նրանք լուռ են: Լուռ էին նաև, երբ այս օրերին Նիկոլին հայհոյելու համար «վինչեստեր»-ից գնդակահարվեցին ՀՀ քաղաքացիներ»: 
 
Զոհրաբյանի խոսքով՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը որդեգրել է ամենաարատավոր քաղաքականությունը, այն ինչի մեջ ինքը մեղադրում էր նախկին իշխանություններին.
 
«Ինքը նախկին իշխանավորների բոլոր արատավոր քայլերի գագաթնակետն է, երբ նա ԱԺ ամբիոնից «ճղում» էր իրեն՝ ասելով, որ նախկին պաշտոնյաններն օգտվում են իշխանության բարձրագույն հովանավորությունից, այսօր մենք տեսնում ենք, որ Փաշինյանն իր որևէ թիմակցի անգամ ակնհայտ հանցագործությունն առնում է իր հովանավորության տակ: Դրանով նա ուզում է իր թիմակիցներին ասել՝ ինձ պաշտպանելու համար արեք ցանկացած հանցագործություն, ես տեր եմ: Սա է մեր իրականություն»:
