Արմեն Աշոտյանն իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրել է.
Այսօր երկու հայկական պետությունների նորագույն պատմության մեջ անուրանալի ավանդ ունեցած այս մարդու, Հայաստանի երրորդ նախագահի ծնունդն է։
Այստեղ հիմա կարող էին լինել ճիշտ, բայց սովորական դարձած, պլպլան-շողշողան-զրնգուն, արարողակարգային ծուլությունից պաշտոնական հաղորդագրություններից հաղորդագրություն գաղթող, բառարանային անհոգի ճշգրտությամբ գրված բազմաթիվ դասական կլիշեներ։
Բայց մեր պետությունն այդ վիճակում չէ։ Մենք ինքներս այդ «շռայլ» հոգեվիճակում չենք։
Թող իր ծննդյան առիթով նա ների ինձ այս փակ խոսակցությունը բացահայտելու համար։
Բայց չպատմել չեմ կարող։
Օրեր առաջ մեր նեղ միջավայրում նա ասաց. «Եթե սա է լինելու իմ ժողովրդի ապագան, ապա ո՞րն է մեր, ո՞րն է իմ ապրելու իմաստը…»
Չէ, այսօր «շեֆիս» ծնունդը չէ։ Ոչ էլ կուսակցությանս ղեկավարի։ Այսօր իմ ավագ ընկերոջ, քաղաքականության մեջ իմ “role model”-ի ծննդյան օրն է։
Ի դեպ, այս լուսանկարի վայրի խորհրդի ներքո Հայրենիքի ապագայով մտահոգված հարյուր հազարավոր մարդիկ իրենց սրտերում պատասխանների են սպասում։
Հենց իր շուրթերից։
Ու այդ օրն էլ կգա։
Իսկ հիմա պարզ ու շիտակ ավարտեմ.
Ծնունդդ շնորհավոր, իմ ավագ ընկեր։
