Հարավային Կովկասում ԵՄ հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Տոյվո Կլաարը «Թրենդ» գործակալությանը տված բացառիկ հարցազրույցում հայտնել է, որ Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահ Շառլ Միշելն անձամբ կշարունակի շատ ակտիվ ներգրավված լինել Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի միջև խաղաղության հաստատման գործընթացում։

«Հուսով եմ, որ ապագայում մենք ականատես կլինենք (Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի) ղեկավարների նոր հանդիպումներին, քանի որ այս ձևաչափն իսկապես կարևոր է։ Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևին, Հայաստանի վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին և նախագահ Շառլ Միշելին հաջողվել է քննարկել և առաջընթաց գրանցել մի շարք կարևոր հարցերի շուրջ։ Եվ այս առումով, իհարկե, սա այն ձևաչափերից մեկն է, որի վրա ԵՄ-ն կշարունակի կենտրոնանալ՝ որպես տարբեր հարցերի լուծման առումով առանցքային։ Միաժամանակ մենք շարունակելու ենք աշխատել այլ մակարդակներում։ Անձամբ ես, իմ թիմի, ինչպես նաև նախագահ Միշելի գրասենյակի գործընկերների հետ, անպայման կշփվենք թե՛ Բաքվի, թե՛ Երևանի հետ՝ լուծելու բոլոր այն կարևոր խնդիրները, որոնք քննարկվում են։ Խոսքը խաղաղության պայմանագրի, հաղորդակցության վերականգնման, սահմանի մասին է։ Կան բազմաթիվ առանցքային հարցեր, որոնցում, կարծում եմ, ԵՄ-ն ձեռնարկել է և ակտիվորեն կմասնակցի օգնություն ցուցաբերելու համար»,- ասել է Կլաարը:

Ինչ վերաբերում է Հարավային Կովկասում տրանսպորտային հաղորդակցությունների բացմանը, ապա նա ընդգծել է, որ ԵՄ-ն արդեն օգնության ձեռք է մեկնել այդ խնդրի լուծման համար։

«Բայց, իհարկե, մենք կշարունակենք ակտիվորեն զբաղվել դրանով։ Նշեմ, որ մայիսի 22-ին ղեկավարների վերջին հանդիպման ժամանակ այս հարցը քննարկումների կարևոր մասն էր։ Եվ ղեկավարները ձեռք են բերել որոշակի կարևոր պայմանավորվածություններ, որոնք հիմք են դարձել անցյալ ամիս Ադրբեջանի, Հայաստանի և Ռուսաստանի փոխվարչապետների հանդիպմանն այս խնդրի լուծման վերաբերյալ քննարկումների համար։ Սա, իհարկե, առանցքային խնդիր է Ադրբեջանի համար, որը չափազանց կարևոր է ԵՄ-ի և, իհարկե, Հայաստանի համար։ Եվ ես վստահ եմ, որ առաջիկայում հնարավոր է լուծում գտնել և առաջ շարժվել այս շատ կարևոր հարցում, քանի որ դա բնական հետաքրքրություն է ներկայացնում բոլոր ներգրավվածների համար։ ԵՄ-ն կշարունակի մեծ ուշադրություն հատկացնել այս խնդրի լուծմանը»,- ասել է ԵՄ հատուկ ներկայացուցիչը։

«Բացի այդ, ապագայում մենք կարող ենք ավելի մեծ համագործակցություն հաստատել Հարավային Կովկասի երեք երկրների միջև տարբեր ոլորտներում, լինի դա համագործակցություն էներգետիկայի, ջրային ռեսուրսների կառավարման, թե զբոսաշրջության համատեղ խթանման ոլորտում, սաօգուտներ կբերի տարածաշրջանի բոլոր երեք երկրներին: Կարծում եմ, որ այն ճանապարհը, որով մենք այժմ գնում ենք, մեծ հեռանկարներ է բացում Ադրբեջանի, Հայաստանի և ողջ տարածաշրջանի, նաև ԵՄ-ի համար, քանի որ երեք երկրներն էլ մեր կարևոր հարևաններն են։ Եվ մենք, անշուշտ, մեր հարևաններին մաղթում ենք ամենայն բարիք»,- նշել է Կլաարը:

ԵՄ ներկայացուցիչը կարծիք է հայտնել, որ Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև համապարփակ կարգավորումը, որը կնշանակի տրանսպորտային ենթակառուցվածքների և հաղորդակցության վերականգնում, անշուշտ, ավելի շատ ներդրողների կգրավի տարածաշրջան, որոնք փոփոխվող հանգամանքներում կտեսնեն Հարավային Կովկասի կարևորությունը միջազգային տարանցման և առևտրի համար:
