Իշխան Սաղաթելյանը հանդիպել է եվրոպացի պաշտոնյաների հետ

ՀՅԴ Հայաստանի Գերագույն մարմնի ներկայացուցիչ, «Հայաստան» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Իշխան Սաղաթելյանը, որն աշխատանքային այցով Եվրոպայում է, հուլիսի 7-ին Եվրոպական խորհրդարանում հանդիպել է Հարավային Կովկասի երկրների հետ Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի պատվիրակության ղեկավար Մարինա Կալյուրանդի և Խորհրդարանի սոցիալ-դեմոկրատական քաղաքական խմբի նախագահի արտաքին քաղաքականության գծով տեղակալ Պեդրո Մարկեսի հետ։
Հանդիպման ընթացքում ծավալուն անդրադարձ է կատարվել Արցախյան հակամարտության ներկա հանգրվանին, ԵՄ միջնորդությամբ բանակցային գործընթացին և Հարավային Կովկասում տևական խաղաղության հաստատման համար անհրաժեշտ հանգամանքներին։
Իշխան Սաղաթելյանը կարևորել է Արցախի ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման իրավունքի իրացման ճանաչման անհրաժեշտությունը՝ որպես հակամարտության վերջնական կարգավորման նախադրյալ և նշել, որ ցանկացած այլ լուծում հանգեցնելու է նոր պատերազմի կամ Արցախի էթնիկ զտման ու հայաթափման:
ՀՅԴ ԳՄ ներկայացուցիչը նաև ընդգծել է, որ հայ ժողովուրդը ցանկանում է խաղաղություն, ձգտում դրան, բայց այն պետք է լինի արժանապատիվ, այլ ոչ թե հայության հայրենազրկման գնով:
Հանդիպման ընթացքում Իշխան Սաղաթելյանը բարձրացրել է հայ ռազմագերիների հարցը, խոսել ՀՀ ներքաղաքական հարցերի, ժողովրդավարական գործընթացներին վերաբերող խնդիրների մասին:
