Կարեն Վրթանեսյանն իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրել է.
2 օր առաջ քննչական կոմիտեն հայտարարել էր, որ Ավետիք Չալաբյանի գործի նախնական քննությունն ավարտված է։ Այսօր դատախազը Ավետիք Չալաբյանի գործի նյութերը վերադարձրել է նախաքննության մարմնին ու նոր միջնորդություն ներկայացվել կալանքը երկարացնելու։
Նպատակը հնարավորինս երկար կալանքի տակ պահելն է։ (Հիշեցնեմ նաև, որ հուլիսի 1-ից իրեն մեղսագրվող արարքն ընդհանրապես պետք է ապաքրեականացվեր ու Ավետիքը պետք է ազատվեր կալանքից, բայց ափալ-թափալ փոփոխություն էին մտցրել, որ այդ հոդվածը մնա)։
Ասել եմ, նորից կրկնեմ. այս կրկեսի նպատակը՝ քաղաքականություն մտնելուց հեռու պահել ցանկացած նոր խաղաղացողի։ Սա ցուցադրական պատիժ է բոլոր նրանց համար, ում մտքով կարող է անցնել քաղաքականություն մտնել ու թեկուզ զուտ տեսականորեն սպառնալ Նիկոլի իշխանությանը։
Ըստ էության սա Նիկոլի ձեռքով թուրքական քաղաքականության իրականացումն է. թուրքի համար հայի ամենաատելի 2 տեսակ կա. մեկը քաղաքական հայն է, մյուսը զինվորական հայը։
