Վլադիմիր Զելենսկին միտումնավոր է շրջանառում իր ազգության թեման, հայտարարել է ՌԴ ԱԳՆ պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Մարիա Զախարովան Sputnik ռադիոկայանի եթերում։
«Դուք հավանաբար ուշադրություն եք դարձրել ԱՄՆ Պետդեպարտամենտի բացարձակ անընդունելի հայտարարությանն իբրև Զելենսկիի նկատմամբ Ռուսաստանում այլատյացական քաղաքականություն վարելու վերաբերյալ։ Առաջին հերթին սա սուտ է։ Եվ կցանկանայի հիշեցնել Պետդեպարտամենտի գաղափարախոսներին, որ Զելենսկիի ազգության թեման մենք չենք սկսել շրջանառել, դա մեզ բացարձակապես չի հետաքրքրում։ Զելենսկիի ազգության թեման սկսել է տարածել անցամբ Զելենսկին՝ անելով դա միտումնավոր ու իր ազգությունը կապելով Ուկրաինայի տարածքում քսենոֆոբիայի և նեոնացիզմի դրսևորումների հայտնվելու կամ առկա լինելու ենթադրյալ անհնարինության հետ, քանի որ մի մարդու մոտ ազգության առկայությունը չի կարող բացառել պետության տարածքում խնդիրների առկայությունը», - նշել է դիվանագետը՝ շեշտելով, որ ԱՄՆ-ն ևս պետք է դադարի շահարկել տվյալ թեման։
«ԱՄՆ-ն պետք է դադարի ազգության ու ազգությունների թեմայի իր շահարկումները Ուկրաինայում տիրող իրավիճակի համատեքստում», - հավելել է Զախարովան։
