Թեհրանում ընթանում է Ռուսաստանի, Թուրքիայի և Իրանի նախագահների եռակողմ հանդիպումը։ Քննարկման հիմնական թեման Սիրիայում տիրող իրավիճակն էր։
Իրանի նախագահ Էբրահիմ Ռաիսիի խոսքով՝ սիրիական ճգնաժամը ռազմական լուծում չունի։ Բացի այդ, նա կարծում է, որ երկրի զինված ուժերը պետք է ապահովեն ամբողջական անվտանգությունը Սիրիայի սահմաններին։ Նա նաև կոչ է արել ԱՄՆ-ին որքան հնարավոր է շուտ հեռանալ տարածաշրջանից։
Պուտինն իր հերթին նշել է Սիրիայում բռնության մակարդակի զգալի նվազում և քաղաքական ու դիվանագիտական գործընթացի սկիզբ։ Ռուսաստանը ելնում է երկրի ինքնիշխանության և տարածքային ամբողջականության սկզբունքներից, և անհրաժեշտ է պայմաններ ստեղծել, որպեսզի սիրիացի ժողովուրդն ընտրի զարգացման ուղին՝ առանց արտաքին միջամտության։ ՌԴ նախագահն ընդգծել է, որ սիրիացիները պատրաստ են բանակցել։
Պուտինը նաև կոչ է արել վերջանականապես դադարեցնել ահաբեկչությունը Սիրիայում։ Նա մատնանշել է ԱՄՆ-ի ապակառուցողական քաղաքականություննն այդ երկրում։
