Հուլիսի 20-ին ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սուրեն Պապիկյանը, ԶՈւ ԳՇ պետի ուղեկցությամբ, այցելել է երկրորդ բանակային զորամիավորում: Պաշտպանական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը շրջել է զորամիավորման ենթակա զորամասերում, ծանոթացել թիկունքային ապահովման աշխատանքներին, զորքերի մարտական պատրաստության ընթացքին: Սուրեն Պապիկյանը զորամիավորման հրամանատարական կազմի հետ քննարկել է անձնակազմի մարտունակության ամրապնդման, ենթակառուցվածքների արդիականացման և զորամասերի շենքային պայմանների բարելավման հետ կապված մի շարք հարցեր:

Այնուհետև պաշտպանության նախարարն այցելել է արևելյան
սահմանագոտի, շրջել մարտական դիրքերում, հետևել առաջնագծի կահավորման աշխատանքներին: Զորամասի հրամանատարը զեկուցել է առաջնագծում կատարված շինարարական և ամրաշինական աշխատանքների, անձնակազմի անվտանգությանն ուղղված միջոցառումների մասին: Պաշտպանության նախարարը վստահեցրել է, որ առաջնագծի անվտանգության ապահովման հետ կապված բոլոր խնդիրները պատշաճ կերպով կուսումնասիրվեն և կլուծվեն:
Նախարարը զորամիավորման սպայակազմի և մարտական հերթապահությունում ընդգրկված զինծառայողների հետ քննարկումների ընթացքում անդրադարձել է նաև զինված ուժերում մեկնարկած բարեփոխումներին, զինծառայողների սոցիալական ապահովությանն առնչվող ծրագրերին, հավաստիացնելով, որ այդ խնդիրները մշտապես գտնվում են երկրի ռազմաքաղաքական ղեկավարության ուշադրության ներքո:
