«Սիրելի բարեկամներ,
 
Թերևս շատերդ գիտեք, որ վերջին երկու և կես ամիսների ընթացքում, ես ապօրինի կերպով ազատազրկված էի գործող իշխանության և նրա կամակատարների կողմից, և հարկադրված էի դադարեցնել ձեր բոլորի հետ իմ ամենօրյա հաղորդակցությունը։ Փակ ռեժիմով կալանավայրի պայմաններում, արտաքին աշխարհի հետ միակ կապը հնարավոր էր իրականացնել փաստաբանների միջոցով, և ես փորձել եմ ըստ հնարավորի, օգտվելով նրանց անգնահատելի աջակցությունից, ձեր դատին հասցնել իմ մտորումները մեր երկրի և նրա հետ տեղի ունեցող իրադարձությունների մասին, և դրանով շարունակել ձեր հետ կապը։
 
Երեկ կալանավորման նախկին ժամկետը ավարտվեց, դատարանը պարզապես չհասցրեց այն երկարաձգելու մասին նոր որոշում ընդունել, և ես Աստծո կամոք և զորությամբ, հայտնվեցի ազատության մեջ։ Սա բոլորովին էլ պայքարի վերջը չի, գործող իշխանությունները փորձելու են շարունակել իմ և ընտանիքիս անդամների դեմ սկսած իրենց արշավը, սակայն անցած ամիսները ցույց տվեցին, որ ինչ էլ նրանք փորձեն ձեռնարկել, Աստծո զորությամբ և մեզ շրջապատող բազմաթիվ ազնիվ և նվիրյալ մարդկանց հետևողական դիմադրության միջոցով այն ձախողվելու է, և արդարությունը ի վերջո հաղթանակ կտանի։
 
Ես այսօր, լինելով ազատության մեջ, ցանկանում եմ իմ խորին շնորհակալությունը հայտնել բոլոր այն մարդկանց, որ այս դժվար պահին կանգնեցին իմ և ընտանիքիս կողքին՝ բազմաթիվ հանրային գործիչներին և կազմակերպություններին, որոնք իրենց ձայն բարձրացրին ի պաշտպանություն մեզ, Արցախի աշխարհիկ և հոգևոր իշխանություններին, որոնք հանդես եկան իմ սկզբունքային պաշտպանությամբ, լրագրողական համայնքին, որն իր անդուլ աշխատանքով մեծ հանրային հնչեղություն ապահովեց այս գործին, մեր բազմաթիվ համախոհներին և գործընկերներին, որոնք իրենց իրական աջակցությամբ, ուժ և կորով տվեցին մեզ՝ դիմագրավելու դժվարություններին և պայքարելու արդարության վերականգման համար։
 
Հատուկ շնորհակալություն եմ ցանկանում հայտնել իմ պաշտպանական և հանրային հաղորդակցության թիմերին, որոնք ամենօրյա ռեժիմով հսկայական աշխատանք կատարեցին այս ընթացքում, և դրանով իրական խոչընդոտներ ստեղծեցին ռեժիմի ռեպրեսիվ մեքենայի համար՝ շարունակելու իմ ազատազրկումը, և իմ խոնարհումն եմ բերում ընտանիքիս բոլոր անդամներին, որոնք իրենց վրա տարան ամենամեծ հարվածի ծանրությունը։
 
Պայքարը շարունակվում է, և այն պայքար է ազատ, ինքնիշխան և հզոր հայրենիք, արդար հասարակարգ, անվտանգ և բարեկեցիկ ապագա ունենալու համար։ Եթե այդ պայքարի արդյունքում ես նորից հարկադրված լինեմ ընդհատել ձեր հետ հաղորդակցությունը, խնդրում եմ ներողամիտ եղեք, այլապես, ես էլ բոլորիդ հետ հույսով և հավատով եմ նայում դեպի մեր ապագան, և խոստանում եմ անել հնարավոր ամենը, որպեսզի մեր հավաքական իղձերը իրականություն դառնան։ Աստված պահապան բոլորիս!»:
