Autoparus.by-ն գրում է, որ թվում է, թե շոգ և արևոտ եղանակին, որը լինում է Եվրոպայում, արևային մարտկոցները պետք է դառնան էներգիայի հիմնական գործոն:

Այնուամենայնիվ, իրականում ինտենսիվ ջերմությունը վնասակար է նման վահանակների համար: Առայժմ Գերմանիան է արևային էներգիայի արտադրության ռեկորդներ սահմանում։ Բայց եթե ջերմաստիճանը երկար մնա բարձր թվերի վրա, ապա արևային մարտկոցների արդյունավետությունը նվազում է։

Վահանակները կլանում են ֆոտոնները` ակտիվացնելով էլեկտրոնները, և դրանք հոսում են էլեկտրականություն ստեղծելու համար: Բայց երբ վահանակը չափազանց շատ է տաքացվում, էլեկտրոնները կլանում են արևի լույսը և գտնվում են գրգռված վիճակում: Դրա պատճառով նվազեցվում է արդյունավետությունը և լարումը, որը կարող է առաջացնել արևային մարտկոցը: Էներգիայի արտադրությունը այդ դեպքում կարող է նվազել 25%-ով։

Օդերևութաբանների կանխատեսումների համաձայն` մոտ ապագայում Եվրոպայում շոգերը կշարունակվեն։ Իսկ դա նշանակում է, որ արևային վահանակների արդյունավետությունը կընկնի, և նոր ռեկորդների պետք չէ սպասել։

Շեֆիլդի համալսարանի օրգանական էլեկտրոնիկայի պրոֆեսոր Ալասթեր Բաքլին ասել է, որ արևային մարտկոցները սիրում են արևը, բայց չեն սիրում ջերմությունը: Արևային մարտկոցները էներգիայի այն միակ աղբյուրը չէ, որը կարող է նվազեցնել էլեկտրաէներգիայի արտադրությունը բարձր ջերմաստիճանի պատճառով: Ֆրանսիայում երկու ատոմակայաններում էլեկտրաէներգիայի արտադրությունը կրճատվել է անցյալ շաբաթ շոգի և մոտակա Ռոն գետի ջրի ջերմաստիճանի բարձրացման պատճառով, որն օգտագործվում է միջուկային ռեակտորների սառեցման համար։
