ՀՀ բնապահպանության նախարարությունում կայացել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության բնապահպանության նախարարին կից գիտատեխնիկական խորհրդի նիստը, որի օրակարգում ներառված էին Սևանա լճի Էկոհամակարգի ներկա վիճակի և ՀՀ տարածքի' սնդիկով աղտոտվածության վերաբերյալ հարցերը:

Սևանա լճի Էկոհամակարգի ներկա վիճակի վերաբերյալ զեկույցով հանդես է եկել ՀՀ գիտությունների ազգային ակադեմիայի Կենդանաբանության և հիդրոէկոլոգիայի գիտական կենտրոնի տնօրեն Բ. Գաբրիելյանը: Վերջինս նշել է, որ 2013-2015թթ. Սևանա լճում արձանագրվել է սիգի արդյունագործական պաշարների աճի միտում, ինչը նախորդ տարիներին բեղուն սերնդով պոպուլյացիայի համալրման արդյունքն է: Ա նկախ այդ փաստից, նա առաջարկել է 2016թ պահպանել այս ձկնատեսակի որսի արգելքը, ապահովելով լճում նրա բնական վերարտադրության բարենպաստ պայմանները:

Ինչ վերաբերում է սիգ ձկնատեսակի պաշարների վերարտադրության ապահովմանը, ապա առաջարկվել է Սևանա լճում ձկնագողության նկատմամբ հսկողությունն առավել խստացնել տվյալ տարվա նոյեմբերի կեսից մինչև հաջորդ տարվա հունվարի 20-ն ընկած ժամանակահատվածում: Տեղեկացվել է նաև, որ, ի տարբերություն նախորդ տարվա, 2015թ. լճում արձանագրվել է արծաթափայլ լճածածանի քանակի կրճատում, ինչը գերորսի արդյունք է: Սակայն, հաշվի առնելով Սևանա լճում այս ձկնատեսակի անցանկալի կարգավիճակը, բանախոսը առաջարկել է առաջիկա տարում շարունակել նրա չսահմանափակված որսը:

Կենդանաբանության և հիդրոէկոլոգիայի գիտական կենտրոնի տնօրենը նշել է, որ ձկնաբանական ուսումնասիրությունների արդյունքում պարզվել է, որ Սևանի իշխանի պոպուլյացիան լճում շարունակում է գոյատևել ի հաշիվ արհեստական պայմաններում աճեցված մանրաձկան: Համաձայն փորձագիտական գնահատման, նրա պաշարները շարունակում են մնալ մոտավորապես նախորդ տարվա մակարդակին՝ մոտ 1-2 տոննայի սահմաններում: Առաջարկվել է ուժեղացնել իշխանի պահպանության հսկողությունը լճում, իսկ ձվադրման շրջանում' հատկապես գետաբերանների հատվածներում:

Նիստի ընթացքում ելույթ է ունեցել նաև ՀՀ գիտությունների ազգային ակադեմիայի Էկոլոգանոոսֆերային հետազոտությունների կենտրոնի փոխտնօրեն Լ. Սահակյանը՝ ներկայացնելով Կենտրոնի կողմից 2005-2013թթ. ընթացքում ՀՀ տարբեր շրջաններում իրականացված էկոլոգաերկրաքիմիական համալիր հետազոտությունների արդյունքները, որոնց համաձայն' սնդիկի չափաքանակներ են հայտնաբերվել ՀՀ տարբեր շրջաններում, այդ թվում' հանքալեռնային, դրանց կից գյուղատնտեսական տարածքներում և քաղաքներում, ինչն էլ փաստում է, որ ՀՀ տարածքում սնդիկը հանդիսանում է ռիսկի գործոն:
