Իրանը պաշտոնապես հրաժարվել է առանցքային պահանջից, որը հիմնական խոչընդոտն էր իրանական միջուկային համաձայնագրի՝ ԳՀՀԾ-ի, վերականգնման փորձերում, CNN-ին հայտնել է վարչակազմի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյան:

Երկուշաբթի Եվրամիության միջուկային համաձայնագրի նախագծին իր պատասխանում, որը ԵՄ-ն «վերջնական» նախագիծ է անվանել, Իրանը չի պահանջել, որպեսզի Իրանի հեղափոխության պահապանների կորպուսը (ԻՀՊԿ) հանվի Պետքարտուղարության օտարերկրյա ահաբեկչական կազմակերպությունների ցուցակից, հեռուստաալիքին հայտնել է բարձրաստիճան աղբյուրը:

«Տեքստի ներկայիս տարբերակը եւ այն, ինչ նրանք խնդրում են, բացառում է դա,- ասել է պաշտոնյան՝ նշելով, որ ԱՄՆ-ն բազմիցս մերժել է այդ պահանջը։- Այնպես որ, եթե մենք ավելի մոտ ենք գործարքին, ապա՝ միայն դրա համար»:

Իրանցիները նաեւ հրաժարվել են ԻՀՊԿ-ի հետ կապված մի քանի ընկերությունների՝ ցուցակից հանելու պահանջներից, ասել է պաշտոնյան:
Նա հավելել է, որ «նախագահը հաստատակամ եւ հետեւողական է եղել այն հարցում, որ չի հանի ահաբեկչության արգելքն Իրանի հեղափոխության պահապանների կորպուսից»։ Ընդ որում, նա նշել է, որ թեեւ գործարքն այժմ «ավելի մոտ է, քան երկու շաբաթ առաջ, արդյունքն անորոշ է մնում, քանի որ որոշ բացեր կան»։

«Նախագահ Բայդենը կհաստատի միայն այն գործարքը, որը բխում է մեր ազգային անվտանգության շահերից»,- հավելել է նա։

Առաջընթացն այսուհետ կարող է դանդաղ լինել, ասել է վարչակազմի մեկ այլ բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյա: Բայց հիմա կարծես թե ավելի շատ իմպուլս կա, քան վերջին տարվա ընթացքում։

ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենն ամիսներ շարունակ պնդում էր, որ ԻՀՊԿ-ն որպես ահաբեկչական կազմակերպություն չի ճանաչի՝ միջուկային գործարքը վերսկսելու համար, որը հայտնի է որպես Գործողությունների համատեղ համապարփակ ծրագիր:
