ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանը շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել ՀՀ Անկախության հռչակագրի օրվա առթիվ։
Ուղերձում նշված է.
«Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,
Երբ 1990 թվականի օգոստոսի 23-ին Գերագույն խորհրդի կողմից ընդունված Հռչակագրով սահմանվեց անկախ պետության հաստատման գործընթացի մեկնարկը, ամբողջ երկիրը, մի ընտանիք դարձած, անպատմելի ոգեւորության մեջ էր: Պատմական զարգացման հերթականությամբ՝ Հռչակագրով սահմանվածն ամրագրվեց 1991 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 21-ի անկախության հանրաքվեով եւ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ճանաչմամբ:
Հռչակագիրը նաեւ մեր Սահմանադրության մշակման թույլտվությունն էր, ինչը եւ կյանքի կոչվեց:
Տարիների հեռվից գնահատելով մեր ձեռքբերումները եւ Հռչակագրով բերած արժեքները՝ պարզ է դառնում այն գիտակցումը, որ անկախությունը վաստակած պարգեւ է, ինչն ավելի պարտավորեցնող է ստանալուց հետո: Յուրաքանչյուր օր անկախությունը պահպանելու հրամայական է, այն ամրացնելու ապացույցը՝ երբեք չավարտվող ջանքերը եւ չթուլացող զգոնությունը:
Մեր տեւական համառությամբ, չընկճվելու ժառանգությամբ եւ բացճակատ դիմակայելու ունակությամբ շարունակելու ենք պայքարել անկախությունը վտանգող տարբեր կողմերից եկող մանր ու մեծ փորձերի դեմ:
Եվ ինչպես Հռչակագիրն է սահմանում, մշտարթուն զգոնությամբ, ազնվորեն եւ մեծ պատասխանատվությամբ պետք է նպաստենք ժողովրդավարական, իրավական հասարակարգի զարգացմանը:
