Վրաստանի խորհրդարանի պատգամավորները դեկտեմբերի 30-ին վստահության քվե են հայտնել նոր վարչապետ Գեորգի Կվիրիկաշվիլիի գլխավորած նախարարների կաբինետին, ինչպես նաեւ պաշտպանել են կառավարության «Ուժեղ, ժողովրդավարական, միասնական Վրաստանի համար՚ ծրագիրը, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը: Նոր կառավարության նշանակումը պաշտպանել է 86 պատգ ամավոր, դեմ են քվեարկել 28-ը: Նախարարների նոր կաբինետին վստահություն հայտնելու վերաբերյալ խորհրդարանի որոշումը կներկայացվի Վրաստանի նախագահ իհաստատմանը, որը պարտավոր է որոշում ընդունել երկօրյա ժամկետում:

Վրաստանի վարչապետի թեկնածու Գեորգի Կվիրիկաշվիլին դեկտեմբերի 28-ին խորհրդարանի հաստատմանն էր ներկայացրել իր կառավարության կազմը. դրանում գրեթե բոլոր պաշտոնները պահպանել են նախորդ նախարարները, նոր են միայն փոխվարչապետն ու արտաքին գործերի նախարարը. այս պաշտոններն ավելի վաղ զբաղեցնում էր Կվիրիկաշվիլին ինքը:

Ներկայացնելով կառավարության ծրագիրը` Կվիրիկաշվիլին հայտարարել է, որ նոր կաբինետի գլխավոր գերակայությունը լինելու է տնտեսական զարգացումը եւ բնակչության բարեկեցության բարելավումը: Ինչ վերաբերում է արտաքին քաղաքականությանը, նրա խոսքով, կարեւորագույն ուղղությունը կդառնա եվրոպական եւ եվրատլանտյան ինտեգրացումը: ՆԱՏՕ-ի հետ հետագա մերձեցումը եւ դաշինքին ապագա անդամակցումը նույնպես կառավարության աշխատանքի հիմնական ուղղություններից մեկն է, հավելել է Կվիրիկաշվիլին: Ընդսմին, նա նշել է, որ Վրաստանը Ռուսաստանի հետ հարաբերություններում կշ արունակի պրագմատիկ քաղաքականությունը:
