Մայք Ռոջերսի հետախուզության և գլոբալ հարցերի կենտրոնի տնօրեն Ջոշուա Հումինսկին ասել է, որ ուկրաինական բանակի անձնակազմի վիճակը երկրի զինված ուժերի հրամանատարության համար ամենակարևոր խնդիրն է։ Այդ մասին նա գրել է The Hill պարբերականի սյունակում։
Հումինսկին կարծիք է հայտնել, որ ձմռան սկսվելուն պես Ռուսաստանն ու Ուկրաինան պաշտպանական դիրքեր կզբաղեցնեն և կձգտեն վերազինվել և վերախմբավորվել: Այս համատեքստում, ըստ փորձագետի, բացի արևմտյան զենքի մատակարարումից, կարևոր խնդիր է դառնում բանակի անձնակազմի վիճակը։
«Արևմուտքը կարող է տրամադրել ամբողջ օգնությունն աշխարհում, բայց նա չի կարող նոր ուկրաինացիներ ստեղծել», - ասել է Չումինսկին:
Այսպիսով, Կիևի ռեժիմի դաշնակիցները խնդիր ունեն պահպանել ուկրաինական զորքերի մարտունակությունը, ընդգծել է փորձագետը։ Արևմուտքը, նրա խոսքով, պետք է հոգ տանի զինվորականների առաջնագծից դուրսբերման, զինվորների հանգստի կազմակերպման և առաջնագիծ վերադարձի մասին։
