ՀՀԿ փոխնախագահ Արմեն Աշոտյանն իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրել է․ 
 
«ԵԱՏՄ վարչապետների այսօրվա ընդլայնված նիստին մաանակցել է նաեւ Ադրբեջանի վարչապետը։
 
Քանիցս նշել եմ, որ Հայաստանի դիվանագիտական դիրքերն այնքան են թուլացել, որ անգամ այն միջազգային կառույցներում, որտեղ անդամ ենք միայն մենք, Ադրբեջանը գնալով «տնավորվում» է։
 
Եւ Ղրղզստանում կայացած նիստը առաջինը չէր։
Ի խայտառակ մեզ բոլորիս Հայաստանը դեռեւս ներկայացնող անլվան, ինչպես եւ կռահելի էր, ոչ մի ծպտուն չհանեց իր ելույթիւմ տարածաշրջանում ստեղծված իրավիճակի մասին:
 
Այո, նիստի օրակարգը տնտեսական էր, բայց անգամ այդ պարագայում խելքի, ցանկության եւ իրական դուխի առկայության դեպքում կարելի էր խոսել մեր իրական խնդիրների մասին։
 
Օրինակ.
 
1. Հայաստանը ԵԱՏՄ երկրներից միակն է, որ ունի ցամաքային սահման Իրանի հետ, եւ Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիվ պահվածքը եւ ոտնձգությունները Սյունիքի նկատմամբ վտանգում են ԵԱՏՄ գործընկեր Իրանի հետ զարգացման հեռանկարները։
 
2. Նույն հիմնավորումով պետք էր շեշտել, որ Իրանի հետ ԵԱՏՄ ազատ առեւտրի գոտու համաձայնագրի իրացումը նույնպես վտանգվում է Հայաստանի մասով։
 
3. Նույն հիմնավորումով պետք էր խոսել Գորիս-Կապան ճանապարհի նկատմամբ ադրբեջանական վերահսկողության բացասական ազդեցության մասին Իրանի հետ առեւտրատնտեսական հարաբերությունների համատեքստում։
 
4. Նույն հիմնավորումներով պետք էր խոսել Մեղրիի ազատ տնտեսական գոտուն սպառնացող վտանգների մասին։
 
Շատ բան կարելի էր անել, եթե մեզ ներկայացներ նորմալ ղեկավար, ոչ թե դրսում պուպսիկ դարձող Նիկոլը»։
