Սիրիայի պատերազմից հետո հազարավոր սիրիահայեր հայրենադարձվեցին Հայաստան․ նրանցից շատերն այսօր հարմարվել են հայաստանյան իրողություններին, ոմանք սեփական բիզնես են հիմնել, որոշներն էլ ապրում են սովորական հայի առտնին հոգսերով։
Օրերս, Էրդողանը կրկին սպառնաց ռազմական գործողություն սկսել Սիրիայում, ինչը չի կարող անտարբեր թողնել մեզ, հաշվի առնելով այդ բարեկամ երկրում ապրող մեր հայրենակիցների ճակատագիրը։
«Էրդողանի սպառնալիքը հավասարապես մտահոգիչ է Սիրիայում ապրող բոլոր քաղաքացիների, ազգային փոքրամասնությունների, այդ թվում՝ հայերի համար։ Թուրքիան միշտ էլ վտանգավոր է, և եթե կրկին պատերազմ լինի, կարող է նաև կոտորած ու արյունահեղություն լինել»,-ԼՈՒՐԵՐ․com-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց «Հայ-արաբական միջազգային իրավական Խորհուրդի» հիմնադիր, ընդհանուր քարտուղար Վահե Մաշիկյանը (Սիրիա)։
Նա հատկապես մտահոգիչ համարեց այն հանգամանքը, որ Սիրիայում հայերի ունեցած հիմնական հարստությունները, կալվածքները, տարածքներն ու այլ սեփականություններ գտնվում են, որպես կանոն, Թուրքիայի հետ սահմանին, այդ թվում՝ հայաշատ Քեսաբը։ Մեր զրուցակցի պնդմամբ, խնդրահարույց են նաև Հալեպը, Ռաքան և այլ բնակավայրեր, որտեղ ևս հայությունը շատ է։
«Ամեն դեպքում, չեմ կարծում, թե Թուրքիան մտադիր է նոր տարածքներ գրավել Սիրիայում․ եթե հավատանք Էրդողանին, ապա Անկարայի նպատակը Սիրիայի հետ իր սահմանակից շրջանները, այսպես կոչված, ահաբեկչական հնարավոր ուժերից մաքրելն է։ Տարածքների գրավման հավանականությունը ցածր է նաև այն պատճառով, որ Սիրիան ունի Ռուսաստանի պես հզոր դաշնակից»,-համոզմունք հայտնեց սիրիահայ գործիչը։
