Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Մեծ Բրիտանիայի և Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիայի Միացյալ Թագավորության նորընտիր վարչապետ էլիզաբեթ Թրասին: Ուղերձում, մասնավորապես, ասված է.

«Ձերդ գերազանցություն,

Սրտանց շնորհավորում եմ Ձեզ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի և Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիայի Միացյալ Թագավորության վարչապետի և Պահպանողական կուսակցության ղեկավարի պաշտոններում ընտրվելու կապակցությամբ՝ մաղթելով հաջողություններ առաջիկա պատասխանատու առաքելության մեջ։

Վստահ եմ, որ Ձեր առաջնորդությամբ, ինչպես նաև շնորհիվ Ձեր՝ պետական կառավարման հարուստ փորձի՝ Միացյալ Թագավորությունը կշարունակի զարգանալ և բարգավաճել՝ իր ծանրակշիռ ավանդը բերելով գլոբալ մարտահրավերների հաղթահարմանը։

Հայաստանը մեծապես կարևորում է Միացյալ Թագավորության հետ բազմաշերտ համագործակցության հետագա զարգացումն ու խորացումը՝ խարսխված ժողովրդավարական արժեքների, գործնական շահերի և փոխադարձ հարգանքի վրա։

Այս առումով լիահույս եմ, որ Ձեր կառավարման օրոք հայ-բրիտանական հարաբերությունները նոր խթան և որակ կստանան՝ ի շահ մեր երկրների բարգավաճման և մեր բարեկամ ժողովուրդների բարօրության։

Ձերդ գերազանցություն,

Հայաստանը, որպես ժողովրդավար երկիր, առանցքային տեղ է հատկացնում լայնածավալ բարեփոխումներին՝ միտված օրենքի գերակայության ապահովմանը, կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարին, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանությանը և այս համատեքստում բարձր է գնահատում Միացյալ Թագավորության շարունակական աջակցությունը Հայաստանին և հայ հասարակությանը։

Այս տարի հոբելյանական տարի է հայ-բրիտանական հարաբերություններում․ մենք տոնում ենք երկկողմ դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատման 30-ամյակը, ինչը նոր հանգրվան է փոխհարաբերություններն արժևորելու և համագործակցության նոր հեռանկարներ ուրվագծելու համար։

Այս երեք տասնամյակների ընթացքում մեր երկրների միջև հարաբերությունները հետևողականորեն զարգացել են՝ ընդգրկելով քաղաքական երկխոսությունը, միջխորհրդարանական, կրթամշակութային կապերը և տնտեսական համագործակցությունը։ Այնուամենայնիվ, կարծում եմ, որ երկկողմ հարաբերություններում դեռևս առկա է չիրացված ներուժ, ինչի վերհանման և իրագործման հարցում ակնկալում եմ սերտ համագործակցություն Միացյալ Թագավորության նոր կառավարության հետ՝ ուղղված հայ-բրիտանական օրակարգը նոր նախագծերով հարստացնելուն։

Եվս մեկ անգամ շնորհավորում եմ Ձեզ՝ ցանկանալով արգասաբեր աշխատանք, իսկ Միացյալ Թագավորության ժողովրդին՝ բարօրություն և հաջողություններ»:
