Ինուվիկում տեղադրվել է 3456 արևային մարտկոց

Goarctic.ru-ն գրում է, որ Կանադայի հեռավոր Ինուվիկ քաղաքում (Հյուսիսարևմտյան տարածքներ) սկսել են կառուցել արևային էլեկտրակայան։ Nihtat Energy ընկերությունը կտեղադրի 3456 արևային մարտկոց։ Քաղաքային ցանցին էլեկտրակայանի միացումը սպասվում է 2023 թվականի գարնանը։
Արկտիկական Մաքենզի դելտայում գտնվող Ինուվիկն աշխարհի հետ կապված է միայն սեզոնային սառցե ճանապարհով և օդային ճանապարհով: Արևային էլեկտրակայանի շինարարությունը պետք է ավարտվի մինչև տարեվերջ։
Աշխատանքը կատարում է Nihtat Energy ընկերությունը, որը պատկանում է տեղի Կուչին հնդկացիներին: Ծրագիրը մշակվել է երեք տարի առաջ և ֆինանսավորվում է Կանադայի դաշնային կառավարության կողմից:
Էլեկտրակայանի գործարկումը Ինուվիկի բյուջեում տարեկան կխնայի 1 մլն դոլար։ Այժմ այս գումարը ծախսվում է քաղաքում էլեկտրաէներգիա և ջերմություն արտադրելու համար դիզվառելիք գնելու վրա։ Դա նաև կնվազեցնի ջերմոցային գազերի արտանետումները մթնոլորտ:

Ծրագրի շնորհիվ շինարարության ընթացքում քաղաքում կհայտնվի 6 նոր աշխատատեղ։ Նոր էլեկտրակայանի գործարկումից հետո կբացվի չորս աշխատատեղ։
