Արցախի ճանաչման գործընթացը դեռևս շարունակվում է:Այս մասին գրել է Արցախի Հանրապետության ԱԳ նախարար Դավիթ Բաբայանը.
«Արցախի Հանրապետությանը ճանաչել են մի շարք երկրներ, ինչպես օրինակ, Աբխազիան, Հարավային Օսիան, Մերձդնեստրի, ԱՄՆ-ի և Ավստրալիայի տասնյակ նահանգներ, Ֆրանսիայի տարբեր քաղաքներ։
«Այսինքն, աստիճանաբար ճանաչման գործընթացը առաջ է գնում, Արցախը ճանաչել են 2000-3000 բնակչություն ունեցող քաղաքներից մինչև այնպիսի մեգապոլիսներ, ինչպիսին Լոս-Անջելեսն է, որը 15 միլիոն բնակչություն ունի։ Այսինքն, գործընթացն առաջ է գնում, թեև այն շատ բարդ է։ Բայց մենք երբեք չենք հրաժարվելու այդ գործընթացից։
Հասկանալի է, որ կան միջազգային քաղաքականության խաղի կանոններ, շահեր, բայց այնուամենանիվ, հորդորում եմ չմոռանալ, որ Ալիևն ինքն էր ասում, որ իրեն պարտադրում են Արցախի ճանաչել։ Այսինքն, մենք երբեք չենք հրաժարվելու այդ գործընթացից ու ինքնորոշման մեր իրավունքից։
Միջազգային ճանաչումն, իհարկե, կարող է շատ-շատ երկար տևել, բայց մինչ այդ կարևոր է, որպեսզի մենք ունենանք ապահով ներկա և ապագա Արցախի համար, և դա չի կարող լինել Ադրբեջան/ի կազմում, դա ապագայում կործանման կտանի»։
