Տեխասի համալսարանի աշխատակիցներն այն եզրակացության են հանգել, որ մարդն ավելի շատ սնունդ է օգտագործում, եթե այն առողջ եւ օգտակար է համարում:
Մարդը շատակերության է հակված այն դեպքում, եթե սննդի փաթեթի վրա տեղեկություններ է տեսնում այն մասին, որ վերջինս առողջ սննդի կարգին է դասվում: Արդյունքում մարդիկ նման սննդամթերքը պակաս սննդարար են համարում, քան դրանց ճարպոտ նմանակները եւ դրանցից ավելի մեծ քանակությամբ են ուտում:
Այսպիսով` օգտակար սնունդը շատակերության եւ ավելորդ կիլոգրամների պատճառ է դառնում:
Գիտնականները որոշել են փորձարարական եղանակով ի ցույց դնել առողջ սննդի եւ հագեցածության միջեւ կապը, տեղեկացնում է Informing-ը:
Հետազոտության համար մի քանի տասնյակ մարդ է ընտրվել, որոնք կերել են այնպես կոչված վնասակար կամ առողջարար թխվածքաբլիթ: Ուտելուց հետո գիտնականները հետազոտել են կամավորների քաղցի մակարդակը:
Գիտնականները նաեւ ավելի քան 70 մարդ են ընտրել եւ ստուգել են, թե նրանց վրա ինչպես է ազդում կարճ ֆիլմի դիտումից հետո պատվիրված սնունդն ընդունելու եղանակը:
Պետք է ասել, որ ստացված արդյունքների հիման վրա մասնագետներն այն եզրակացությանն են հանգել, որ անհրաժեշտ է շատ ուշադիր վերաբերվել փաթեթավորման վրայի գրություններին, ինչպես նաեւ չջանալ հնարավորինս շատ սնունդ ուտել, անկախ նրա օգտակարության աստիճանից:
