Համացանցում շրջանառվող լուրերի մեծ մասը, Ջերմուկի վերաբերյալ, իրականությանը չի համապատասխանում: Այս մասին հայտնում է համայնքի ղեկավար Վահագն Արսենյանը։
«Ջերմուկում իրավիճակը վերահսկվում է: Եվս մեկ անգամ կոչ ենք անում խուճապ չտարածել, եվ հետևել միայն պաշտոնական աղբյուրներին»,-նշել է նա:
Հիշեցնենք, որ Ադրբեջանի զինված ուժերը սեպտեմբերի 12-ի լույս 13-ի գիշերը՝ 00:05-ի սահմաններում, հարձակման են անցել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության պետական սահմանի երկայնքով՝ ռազմական գործողություններ ձեռնարկելով Սյունիքի, Վայոց ձորի և Գեղարքունիքի մարզերի ուղղություններով: ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարությունը հայտնել է, որ հրետակոծման են ենթարկվել Սոթքի, Վարդենիսի, Գորիսի, Կապանի, Արտանիշի և Իշխանասարի ուղղությամբ տեղակայված դիրքերը: Հարվածներ են հասցվել նաև խաղաղ բնակավայրերին և քաղաքացիական ենթակառուցվածքներին: Ինտենսիվ գործողությունները շարունակվել են ողջ գիշեր:
Սեպտեմբերի 13-ի լույս 14-ի գիշերը իրադրությունը հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին շարունակել է լարված մնալ։ Մասնավորապես՝ Ջերմուկի ուղղությամբ հակառակորդը կիրառել է հարվածային անօդաչու թռչող սարքեր։ Ադրբեջանի զինված ուժերը հրետակոծությամբ թիրախավորում են Ջերմուկի և Վերին Շորժայի ուղղությամբ տեղակայված դիրքերը, ինչպես նաև սահմանամերձ բնակավայրերը:
Սեպտեմբերի 14-ին ՀՀ ՊՆ մամուլի քարտուղար Արամ Թորոսյանը հաղորդել է, որ ժամը 15:00-ի դրությամբ իրավիճակը հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին կրկին ծայրահեղ լարվել է: Ժամը 13:00-ից սկսած՝ Սոթքից մինչև Գորիս ընկած ամբողջ սահմանագծով թշնամին վերսկսել է ինտենսիվ հրթիռահրետանային հարվածները՝ թիրախավորելով նաև խաղաղ բնակավայրերը, լայնորեն կիրառելով նաև հարվածային անօդաչու թռչող սարքեր: Հատկանշական է, որ հարվածներ են հասցվել նաև մարտական գործողությունների գոտում հումանիտար առաքելություն իրականացնող Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության անվտանգության դաշնային ծառայության տրանսպորտային միջոցներին:
Սեպտեմբերի 14-ին ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը Ազգային ժողովում հայտնեց, որ սեպտեմբերի 14-ի դրությամբ Ադրբեջանի հարձակման հետևանքով հայկական կողմի զոհերի թիվը հասել է 105-ի:
