Այսօր՝ սեպտեմբերի 18-ին, խոշոր ավտովթար է տեղի ունեցել Արարատի մարզում: Ժամը 15:00–ի սահմաններում Երևան-Երասխ ավտոճանապարհի 11-րդ կմ հատվածում Արարատի մարզի բնակիչ, 20-ամյա Գավրիլ Ալավերդյանը իր վարած Jeep Grand Cherokee մակնիշի ավտոմեքենայով դուրս է եկել ճանապարհի երթևեկելի գոտուց, բախվել երկաթե ցուցանակին, այնուհետև առաջ ընթանալով՝ արմատախիլ արել ծառը և հայտնվել դաշտում:
Ինչպես դեպքի վայրից հայտնում է ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, վթարի հետևանքով վարորդը բժշկական օգնություն ստանալու նպատակով տեղափոխվել է «Էրեբունի» բժշկական կենտրոն: Օպերատիվորեն դեպքի վայր են ժամանել ճանապարհային ոստիկանության 2-րդ սպայական գումարտակի 1-ին վաշտի 2-րդ դասակի ավագ տեսուչներ Վահե Թովմասյանն ու Հակոբ Հովհաննիսյանը, իսկ ավագ տեսուչներ Գեղամ Մովսիսյանն ու Օրջոնիկ Հայրապետյանը վարորդին ուղեկցել են հիվանդանոց:
Օպերատիվորեն ժամանել է նաև ոստիկանության Մասիսի բաժնի հերթապահ խումբը՝ օրվա պատասխանատու հերթապահի գլխավորությամբ: Վթարի մասին ՃՈ 177 օպերատիվ կառավարման կենտրոնի պատասխանատու հերթապահ Երվանդ Ալեքսանյանը տեղեկությունը փոխանցել է Հայաստանի քննչական կոմիտեի Արարատի մարզային քննչական վարչության Մասիսի քննչական բաժին, որտեղից ժամանել է քննչական խումբը՝ ավագ քննիչ Եդիգար Թորոսյանի գլխավորութամբ, ում կողմից նախաձեռնվել է վարույթ:
Քննիչի հանձնարարականով ավտոմեքենան տեղափովում է ոստիկանության Մասիսի բաժնի պահպանվող հատուկ տարածք: Վարորդը ենթարկվել է սթափության փորձաքննության, նա եղել է սթափ:
