Զոհված զինծառայողների ծնողները երեկ գիշերվանից «Եռաբլուր» զինվորական պանթեոնում են` թույլ չտալու, որպեսզի Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը մտնի Եռաբլուր։ 

Վաղ առավոտից ոստիկանական հսկայական ուժեր են կենտրոնացել «Եռաբլուր» զինվորական պանթեոնում, ինչի արդյունքում Փաշինյանը այնուամենայնիվ մտել է Եռաբլուր, այցելել զոհվածների շիրիմներին և ծաղկեպսակ դրել։
Որոշ ժամանակ անց վրդովված ծնողները մի կողմ են նետել պետական պաշտոնյաների դրած ծաղկեպսակները և հեռացրել տարածքից։

Մի շարք հայ հայտնիներ անդրադարձել են իրավիճակին՝ ինստագրամյան իրենց «Սթորի» բաժիններում հրապարակելով դեպքի վայրից լուսանկարներ և հոլովակներ: 

«Որդեկորույս մայրեր․․․ Եռաբլուր։ Պապանձված սրտեր․․․ ու խայտառակ, բութ ցավ, որից պրծում չկա, քանի էս «քաղցկեղածին» բարքերը շարունակվում են։ Էդքանը․․․», - գրել է Նազենին։ 

Երգչուհի Սոֆի Մխեյանը հրապարակել է դեպքի վայրից ամբողջական հոլովակը, որին կից գրել է. «Անկախության օրը զոհված հերոսների մայրերին, քույրերին հեռացնում են Եռաբլուրից»:
Հաղորդավարուհի Գայանե Ասլամազյանն Ինստագրամի իր էջում հրապարակել է հոլովակ, որին կից գրել է. «Այ այսպես է գալիս հարգանքի տուրք մատուցի տղեքին՝ մայրերին այսպես վերաբերվելով: Երբևէ, որևէ երկրում տեսե՞լ եք նման վերաբերմունք հերոսածին մայրերի նկատմամբ»:

Իրավիճակին անդրադարձել է նաև Անաիս Սարդարյանը, Գոռ Հակոբյանը, Հրաչ Մուրադյանը, Մարջան Ավետիսյանը և այլք՝ դատապարտելով ստեղծված իրավիճակը:
