Ազգերի լիգայի խաղարկության խմբային փուլի 6-րդ տուրում Հայաստանի հավաքականը հյուրընկալվել էր Իռլանդիային և 2-3 հաշվով պարտություն կրեց՝ նահանջելով C դիվիզիոն։ Հանդիպումից հետո մեր ընտրանու գլխավոր մարզիչ Խոակին Կապառոսն ասաց հետևյալը․
«Շատ ցավալի էր, իրոք։ Չգիտեմ ինչու է Հայաստանի հավաքականի հետ ամեն անգամ նման բաներ պատահում, երբ մենք խաղում ենք Իռլանդիայում։ Ստացվեց այնպես, ինչպես 2011-ին։ Այստեղ պետք է գնահատել թիմի արձագանքը։ Ֆուտբոլիստների հպարտությունը․․․ երբ հաշիվը 2-2 էր, դեռ բավականին ժամանակ ունեինք մեր ուզած հաշվին հասնելու համար, իսկ մրցակիցը նյարդայնացած էր։
Առջևում 45 րոպե կար և մենք պետք է հավատայինք մեր ուժերին։ Ավելի շատ էինք տիրում գնդակին ու գոլային պահեր ստեղծում։ Առաջին գոլը մրցակիցը խփեց ստանդարտից, որում նա բավականին ուժեղ է, իսկ 2-0-ից հետո մենք սկսեցինք ավելի շատ վերահսկել գնդակը: 2-2 հաշվի ժամանակ Խորեն Բայրամյանը նպաստավոր պահ ուներ։ Մրցակիցը հասկանում էր, որ մենք կարող ենք փոխել իրավիճակը։
Անկյունային հարված չկար։ Սա շատ պարզ է։ Ես չեմ դատում 11-մետրանոցի մասին, ես դատում եմ անկյունայինի մասին, որը չկար, վստահ եմ՝ Դուք ևս տեսել եք, որ չկար։ Այսինքն 11-մետրանոց չպետք է լիներ, որովհետև մինչ այդ չպետք է լիներ անկյունային։ Կրկնում եմ, որ չեմ հասկանում ինչ է կատարվում ամեն անգամ, երբ Հայաստանի հավաքականը հանդես է գալիս Իռլանդիայում։
2011-ի խաղը հայկական ֆուտբոլի պատմությունն է և ես պարտավոր եմ այն ուսումնասիրել։ Բացի այդ, այն ժամանակ մրցավարն իսպանացի էր, այսինքն, ես՝ որպես գլխավոր պատասխանատու, պարտավոր եմ ուսումնասիրել հայկական ֆուտբոլի պատմությունը։ Պատահական չէ, որ այն ֆուտբոլիստը, որի հետ 2011-ին պատահեց այդ դեպքը, այսօր մեր դարպասապահների մարզիչն է։
Շնորհակալություն իմ ֆուտբոլիստներին, իսկ այն, ինչ ես ասում եմ ֆուտբոլիստներին հանդերձարանում, մնում է հանդերձարանում»։
